Kai sat up in bed when she heard the alarm on her phone go off. She got up and walked into her small bathroom and turned her shower on. Since she had moved out her moms kai had found herself a nice little one bedroom apartment with pretty affordable rent. She put a shower cap on and got into the steaming hot shower. After 30 minutes in the she got out and looked at the clock, time management was not one of the many thing she was good at. It was already 11:25am and Mello's game at the park started at 12:00pm. She walked back into her room and sat on her bed. She looked over at her phone and see she had 2 unread messages.

Kai smiled at the message mello left her, it was kinda cute and high schoolish and thats what she liked about it. she closed the message and read the next one

Kai erased the message and rolled her eyes annoyed. She was so over Leek and his little hissy fits. Why couldn't he just let her be happy and learn to live without her? She shook her head while lotioning her legs with shea butter. When she was finished she got up and walked to her closet, she had already had her outfit hanging up because she knew she would most likely be running late. She put on the all white half shirt that stopped just above her belly button which had a dangling jewel bellybutton ring in it, some light deniem shorts that showed off her her long gorgeous legs and red low top chuck taylors. She chose to wear her hair curly today but didn't want it in her face so she tied a red bandana around the front of it. She put on some diamond studs she had gotten as a graduation gift from her mom and looked in the mirror to check herself out.

Normally she looked much older than her age but today she looked like the 19 year old she was and she was pleased with it. After putting on a coat her favorite lipgloss and spraying on one of her favorite perfumes, she was out the door. It was hot as hell out that day for some reason and Kai loved it, summer was one of her favorite seasons. As she pulled up to the park which was downtown she laughed to herself, it was definitley a HOOD affair all you seen were cars with loud sound systems, bright colors and huge rims. Females in heels were walking around with red cups in their hands and Kai shook her head. She didn't understand why they felt the need to wear high heels to a park. She circled the parking lot and parked her car. When she got out she scanned the park and her surroundings, she had just hit the car alarm when she heard

"Daaaaamn baby you look just as good as i remember"

Kai turned around to see the same dude that was in Scotties driveway that day at her mom's house and rolled her eyes.

"Damn" she said under her breath

before she could walk away he was invading her personal space Kai couldnt've been more turned off but he continued to try and spit game

"So when you gon let a nigga take you out or sum?" He said with the smell of cigarettes on his breath that made her want to throw up.

Before she could answer she felt a hand grab hers

"You ain't her type" Mello said with a straight face

The guy backed up and looked Mello up and down then looked away.
