Butterflies take over my stomach as Harry and I sit in the room at hospital with William, he’s still crying and I just don’t understand. “Was it a bad accident I mean I didn’t see much damage on your car. Where were you going?” I ask him curiously as I sit nervously with William in my lap bouncing my knees up and down.
“It was hard enough to send me in to the middle of the intersection but it was quiet. We were going to visit Olly,” He says and my eyes go wide. Was Olly going to tell Harry that Niall and I were getting it on in the living room?
“I was going to surprise him, I haven’t seen him in a while.” He says when he sees my face. “Why do you look so shocked about me going to see Olly, you see him all the time.” He frowns.
“It’s nothing sorry,” I mutter softly and stand up when the doctor walks in to the room.
“How’s the little man doing?” The doctor says and bends down to look at William who is so curious that he just stops crying and stares back at the doctor. “Well he doesn’t seem to be injured,” He murmurs and picks up William’s hand and looks him over carefully. He pulls out a little light and shines it in William’s eyes and then looks back up at us. “He’s fine just a little shocked is all. Just needs a cuddle and maybe he’ll want to sleep in the middle of mum and dad.” He smiles at us and puts his little light away.
“Thank you so much,” Harry jumps off his chair and hugs the doctor.
“No problem, stay safe.” He nods and walks out of the room.
“I’m so sorry.” Harry murmurs.
“It’s fine, he’s alright. And besides you got rammed from behind there was nothing you could do. Are you alright?” I realise that I’ve been so focused on my baby what I didn’t really pay much attention to Harry when I thought there was something wrong with my baby.
“Bit of whip lash but I’m fine. Do you want to take him home?” He asks.
“No you can have him, but please go straight home.” I whisper.
“Are you sure?” He asks.
I’m about to tell him that it’s fine but my phone starts to ring. I look at it quickly but decide to answer it when I see Louis’ name flashing on the screen. “Hi Louis,” I say in to the phone and hand the baby to Harry.
