Our date night was really cute, Niall set up a dinner and then we went out to see a show and by the time we were ready to go home we were both quite tipsy so we left the car in town and got a cab home. Cara was sitting on the sofa reading a book when we got inside and she chuckles as Niall not so quietly shouted, “Good night Ireland I love you!” I shake my head and smile walking over to her and plopping next to the young babysitter.

“Good night then?” Cara giggles.

“Can’t complain. How was Will?” I ask her. It’s just after one o’clock in the morning. Sometimes he wakes up at about midnight, because he likes to have a cuddle. And occasionally I’ll let him sleep in the middle of Niall and I.

“He was great, he woke up just after you guys left so I have him a drink of water and put him back down. He’s grown so much!” She gushes. Cara lives next door to the first house that Harry and I bought. She’s become good friends with Olly, that’s actually how I met her.

“Yeah he’s a monster now.” I smile. “I’m glad he was good for you. Do you need a lift?” I ask her.

“Oh no that’s fine. Olly is over at Harry’s he’s going to take me home.” She smiles brightly.

“Oh well that’s handy!” I say and nod my head as we stand up from the sofa. I hand Cara her money and we walk to the back door. “I hope you don’t find this rude but are you and Olly a thing?” I ask her curiously. She’s nineteen years old and the first time she babysat for Harry and I when William was tiny she was a giddy fan girl that was lucky to be living next to Olly Murs but from what I can tell Olly really seems to like Cara and Cara seems to like him too. I’d be happy if Olly had a girlfriend, he caused enough trouble, without really meaning to, when Niall and I first hooked up.

“Um…” She bites her lip nervously and looks over her shoulder and out the window to see if there’s anyone there. “I really like Olly but I’m not sure if he likes me back.” She smiles shyly at me and I smile back.

“I’m sure he does, he’s a great lad.” I think back to the days when I used to have a crush on Olly too, that was just a few months before I had become Harry’s girlfriend and I couldn’t decide who I liked more. But Olly was a lot older than me and I was just 16 years old. “Do you want me to say something?” I ask Cara curiously as I open the door and we step out. The light comes on automatically as we walk across the veranda and down the stairs in to the yard.

Cara stops in her tracks with wide eyes like she’s petrified or something. “Would you do that?” She asks.
