"Selfie tayo! Hashtag holy!" Napakurap kurap si Faith nang makita ang nag iingay sa labas ng simbahan. Ang kanyang mga pinsan lang pala na bumisita dito kamakailan lang. Para nalang din itong reunion at nakakapang ilang ang mga asal nito. Mga pinsan at mga tita pati tito niya ay nandito at nakikitulog sakanilang bahay.
"John halika!" Saad ng babaeng pinsan ni Faith at parang hindi siya napapansin nito kahit na nasa gilid lang si Faith ni John, mas ang kaibigan niyang lalaki ang nakita nito.
"Faith." Hinawakan nito sa kamay ni Faith sabay paghila nito papalit sa mga pinsan niya. Nakita ni Faith ang pag iiba ng mukha ng kanyang mga pinsan sa oras na lumapit si John at siya sakanila.
"Sige, selfie guys." Walang gana na saad ng pinsan niya at nangmakita ni Faith ang mukha nito sa camera ay sobrang lamya ng mga ngiti nito, parang ayaw bang isali ito sa litrato.
"Thank you, John." Wika nito at ngumiti, kinikilig ito habang nakatingin sa litrato at lumayo na kaagad, sumabay nalang din si John. Wala si Klyd dahil nauna na ito sa kumbento dala ang mga alay.
"Bagay kayo, Ate Faith." Saad ng babaeng server at sobrang laki ng boses nito, rinig na rinig ng mga tao dahilan ng pag linggon nito sakanila.
"Oo nga, ang ganda ng lahi if ever." The middle aged women said and audibly started to laugh before leaving out of the gate. The others were nodding their heads and looking back at Faith and John.
"Libre mangarap as usual." Saad pinakamatandang pinsan niya sa kanilsng pamilya. Hindi naman masyasong nasaktan si Faith sa sinabi kahit nakita niya ang pag irap ng kanyang pinsan sakanya.
She didn't basically have a crush on John and John doesn't see Faith in that sort of stage. They're childhood friends and basically just like that though most of the church people pair them up like crazy, they would just laugh it off.
"Tayo na naman napagtripan." Tawang ani ni John at huminga ng malalim.
Faith crossed her arms at the statement,both of them are already tired with these claims. "As if it never gets old." She said quietly and whispered to John.
"Kahit pumuti ang uwak, wala talaga silang makukuha saatin." Dagdag na sabi ni Faith tungkol dito.
"Bukas na din naman sila aalis, should be fine." John said and pursed his lip, he also knew and felt how badly Faith gets treated during a family reunion like this.
"You're still uncomfortable with them." He gives Faith a little look. Faith just watched as her cousins get out of the gate, happily leaving the church and is now walking away, going back to her Mother's house.
Napatawa ng mapait si Faith sabay lingon kay John nang nakataas ang kilay. "Halata ba? And it's more like they're uncomfortable of my presence." Mapait nitong wika at inimpit ang kanyang labi.
"Hindi ko nga pinapabisita sa bahay si Maui ngayon, she will cause big trouble if ever." Faith scratches her hair a little and laughs slightly remembering how hard she stopped Maui from being inside the house. The presence and aura would be too much for her to even handle.
"That woman never leaves a fight, not unless she wins." John scoffed and immediately Faith couldn't be even more proud. Though this was one of the reasons why the people in this church hates Maui.
"I better get going, see you tomorrow for church." Faith said and gave John a pat on the back before she starts to walk away. Faith walks out of the gate and greets some of the older ladies as she gets on her way.
