Seven years ago, Riyuka took overtime at the orphanage. She had finished with leftover work and entered the young (Reader)'s room. The two girls sat at the floor, near the teen's bed, and continued to watch the twelfth episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. 

(Reader) hugged her dog plushie and sat beside her caregiver. Riyuka played the episode from her phone.

The episode began after the intermission, and the (e/c)-eyed girl paid close attention to Saiga. She thought, 'Riyuka-san hinted that there was more to the story with that guy. In one part of the episode, he seemed sad than angry. What was it that made him more upset than he was furious?'

A couple minutes later of the episode, and the duel was almost finished. A stumped (Reader) still didn't understand why Saiga became of who he was after the accident from his glory days.
