At the Daimon Area, a tense atmosphere entered amongst the people within the court. Jack Atlas and Yusei Fudo glared at each other. Jin, Saiga, and Yanagi were shocked to find the King himself at the court.

Yanagi whispered to Saiga, "Why is the King here?"

"I don't know," the broker had no clue.

Having to hear their whispers, Jack glanced over his shoulder, flinching the two men.

The King noticed Jin, who was a little glad to see the former, "I didn't think I'd meet you again, King."

Jack didn't bother to care; he turned away.

Jin became provoked. Before he could raise his hand at the King, Yusei shook his head at his bulky friend, indicating that the King wasn't worth it.

Jin backed away, understanding that he would be no better than his old self.

Saiga and Yanagi became uneasy, not liking where things were going.

Jack noticed (Reader) behind his rival. The moment the former looked at her, she gazed back at him with neutrality. He was taken back to a degree, yet he maintained his reserved demeanor.

'Jack Atlas. A.k.a. the King of Riding Duels. He is Yusei's rival. He stole Stardust Dragon and the Wheel of Fortune behind his former friend's back. All just to be a King,' she mentally observed, 'Even then, when he came to Neo Domino City, he was already under Rex Godwin's palm.'

Jack's first step forward alerted Yusei to stand in front of (Reader) to shield her. Unexpectedly to the latter, the former stopped in his tracks. He did that to get a reaction out of (Reader), and he did.
