A/n: remember to comment your thoughts or anything else, they really make my day (nothing mean or offensive yall)
Y/n woke up in a metal lift. Boxes, crates, and other supplies surrounding her. And something else.
Two boys lay asleep, shivering, on the metal floor next to her. One of them had hay tangled in their hair and the others arm was twitching. They looked young, and slept peacefully.
Y/n looked away from the boys, their pale complexions unnerving. But her whole body was still shaking. She attempted to stand but her legs were weak. Breathing was a challenge.
Worst of all, she couldn't remeber anything. Not even her own name. This took the saying of being born yesterday to anothet level. It felt as though she had been born seconds ago.
Y/n began to breath heavily, the frustration from lack of memory agonizing. Like trying to remember a previous dream, with only a few strings of clues to try and piece together like a quilt.
She screamed for help with a hoarse voice, the pale white light surrounding her making her eyes ache. There were too many things to look at. To hear, to say. To fear.
Y/n stumbled and hit her back on a wooden crate as the metal box began to move. The darkness above looked nothing short of a death sentence, whatever it was.
Her heart had never beat so fast, or maybe it had because she coudn't remember anything before those moments.
Terrifying cranking and clicking noises echoed around y/n, making her fear the metal box could fall apart at any moment. The dark void above her was haunting. Confusion ran through her mind, she screamed again and-
Y/n grew lightheaded and slumped against the cold floor. She felt her head sag, then was knocked onto her side against some planks of wood as the lift jerked again.
The last thing y/n did was wrap her arms around herself and curl into the fetus position, shielding herself from the mysterious sleeping boys. Then everything faded to black once again.
She wished for a long time after that she had never woken up again.

Y/n startled awake when a cold hand gently tapped her cheek. She yelped, sitting up, her tail bone painfully pressing against the wooden planks she had fallen back asleep on.
The situation hit her again with a wave of dread, confusion and fear. She still couldn't remember what her name was. Her head ached from the white lights and the metal box she was in still shock. The boys next to her were still -
"Hello?" A soft voice said, startling y/n out of her daze.
She looked up, still breathing heavily, to find the two boys awake, staring at her with curiosity. She scrambled against the lift's wall, adrenaline coursing thruogh her veins.
The single word spoken by the boy who had poked y/n echoed through the air. The sound of a voice sound foreign and jarringly loud despite the ruckus the whatever was lifting the metal box they were all in.
The three teenagers just... looked at each other for a moment. Waiting for someone to speak again. Or answer the thousand questions pounding at their head, desperate for answers. Or pounce at someone and perhaps start a fight.
"D-don't worry- I won't hurt you," He said softly, but still confused and panicked himself. The second boy took a breath to speak to her as well when the lift sped up once more with a jolt.
