Tails pov
I noticed at school Daniel needed a friend like a real friend so after school I was gonna go find him and see if he wanted to hang out and get to know each other better
The bell rang for school to end so I ran out to find Daniel but he's nowhere to be found he must have been faster than I thought but then I heard a voice

??:help please somebody help

Tails:wait that's Daniel

I hurried to where he was and saw someone messing with him

Bully:come on give it to me

Daniel:but I don't have money I brought my own lunch

Bully:you don't get it every new student gives money

Tails:Hey LEAVE HIM ALONE

Bully:(looks over at tails scared)shoot looks like your lucky kid

After he left I went over to daniel to check on him

Tails:you ok

Daniel's pov
As I slowly stood up I saw Tails come over to me asking if I was ok

Daniel:yeah that's twice I owe you now lol(wait did I just laugh)
Tails:lol
Daniel's thoughts: hey did I just make him laugh

Tails:you know Daniel I'm heading to the park and there's a band playing do you want to join

I thought for a sec but said yes nervously, he told me not to be and that he just wants to be a good friend plus he wants to be around someone who's not sonic for once so after that said I agreed

At the park a lot of people were there and I started to get nervous

Tails:you ok Daniel your shaking

Daniel: Ta Tails I I can't

Tails: hey its ok we can go somewhere else

Daniel:what no it it's ok I'm fine as long as you stay with me all though I'm still a bit nervous

Tails nodded and we went a spot to enjoy the concert and after the 6th song they played one more song and it was one of my favorite songs "wolf bite" by owl city and then I started smiling and singing along, Tails took noticed and looked at me smiling

Daniel:what(looking at him)

Tails:nothing just glad your enjoying yourself

Daniel:I have to be honest I've never felt like this in a long time

After the concert we went back to my house and I invited him in and offered dinner tails accepted after he went home I got ready for bed but with only one thought
