After Daniel's rescue and looking through the drive sonic stole from Eggmans base they figured out why Eggman wanted him,it was for the power and to turn him into a weapon
Daniel and Tails were shocked by what they found, all the tests that Eggman put him through was to see how powerful he was compared to sonic and the results were accurate because Daniel and Sonic's abilities are similar so the only thing left was to

Daniel:NoTails I'm not

Tails:but we need to figure

Daniel:no not gonna happen, I'm sorry but no,(sighs)I'm going for walk

Daniel's pov
After I left I went to a private spot that only I know of in the forest but as I was walking to the spot I started regretting my decision on raising my voice and running out on Tails,as I was in my thoughts I was cut off by realizing I reached my spot,then decided to meditate to calm myself
I must've been doing my meditation for hours because I didn't hear someone walk up

Tails:um Daniel can umm can I join and talk to you

Daniel:(startled) ahh Tails you scared me, and wait did you follow me here

Tails: I was worried when you took off like that so I came to apologize for insisting that I do tests on you I shouldn't have applied that it happen so suddenly after well you know

Daniel:ok ok just come here

He walked up to me and we kissed after we went back home,the next couple hours we just cuddle up on the couch watching the flash then had dinner and went to bed
The next morning
I rolled over in the bed to reach for my special two tailed fox boyfriend but he's not there,so where is he

Daniel:(calls out)Tails?

Tails: kitchen

After hearing him call back I got out of bed and went to him once I got to the kitchen I couldn't believe what I saw,tails made four small bacon and turkey omelets two for me and two for himself and he noticed I was staring at him so he spoke up

Tails: morning I hope I can make up for yesterday by doing whatever you want to do today

Daniel:(Shakes head)how many times do I have to say this you don't need to apologize I'm the one that ran out(sigh) let's just forget about it and eat then we can go for a walk

Tails agreed so we did and when we got back home he notices that I'm standing a little ways from the door

Tails: hey what's wrong,did you want to do something else before coming home(he shook his head) then what is it?

Daniel:let's run those tests

Tails: you sure

Daniel:(smiling) I want to know what I can do
