16- Confession

school was about to end, chaewon was alongside sana laughing and joking about random things when jinyoung appeared in the front plastering an oddly fake smile and looking at chaewon, "- can I speak to you?" sana had gotten the hint once again placing her hand on chaewon's shoulder, "I'll be in the classroom packing" she said smiling then walking off on her phone disappearing from their sight. 

jinyoung shifted his focus from sana to chaewon, he sighed "look chaewon, being with jaemin is not helping you" 

chaewon blinked her eyes a few times at the boy in confusion, "chaewon, I just don't think you should be hanging around with someone like him."

chaewon placed her hands on jinyoung's face to feel if he was hot, "jinyoung, are you sick?" the girl asked as she furrowed her eyebrows. 

jinyoung's hands were pinching the bridge of his nose, he took her wrist gently placing it down, "you just don't get it" he said quietly. 

"he is using you to get back with daeun" 

chaewon had gotten a notification from her phone, she turned it on to see it was a notification from jaemin telling her that he was almost done with practice. chaewon turned off the phone putting it in her back pocket, "look jinyoung I have to g-" but before she could have finished her sentence jinyoung had placed his two hands on her arms. 

"chaewon, can't you see, can't you see how much I like you? just seeing you with jaemin makes my heart ache" jinyoung said in desperation. jinyoung was scanning every feature on her before he put his hands beside him running his fingers through his hair and looking at the floor. 

chaewon's eyes widen a fraction, how could have she not seen this coming? 

once jinyoung's eye averted back to the shocked girl looking at the floor he put one of his hands on her shoulder, "i've been trying to tell you this for the past years" he said more calmly this time. 

"jinyoung I-" Chaewon stared at the boy apologetically before jinyoung cut her off, "no chaewon, it's fine, I get it you don't like me." he said putting his arm to the side of him. this time chaewon put her arm on his shoulder making the distraught boy look back at her, he looked just like a lost puppy. 

"jinyoung, I'm sure you will find a girl that's way better than me and who you deserve." she said hugging the boy, "i'm sure she will treat you 10 times better than me" chaewon added hugging him tightly. jinyoung had put his head down, hugging back at the girl who embraced him, "i will try."

once the two finished hugging chaewon pushed his shoulder playfully, "but you're still my favorite dork" jinyoung laughed at her comment, "and you're still my favorite nerd" he said gently pushing her shoulder.
