"i'm series sana," chaewon whined at her friend while taking a seat at the lunch table, "i did no- hey! i was going to eat that." chaewon crossed her arms and pouted.
"well you took too long to eat it," sana said teasingly, taking a bite from the bread. suddenly they were both interrupted by a loud thud from a lunch tray. chaewon had thought it was jaemin but was surprised to see a girl, a girl chaewon had never seen at school.
"am I interrupting something?" the girl asked nicely.
sana and chaewon looked at each other before looking back at the girl, "not really" sana said.
"are you new? i've never seen you here before?" chaewon asked in curiosity.
the girl let out a small chuckle, "i am actually, I just moved to this school a few days ago."
"well it's nice to meet you, I'm sana and this is chaewon," she said with a nice-warm smile at the new girl.
"well, in that case, i'm Lee Hyejin." the girls were interrupted again by someone sitting with them at their table, and this time it was jaemin.
"hey strawberry" he said giving a wink at chae before taking a seat at the table. jaemin looked over and saw an unfamiliar face. as if chaewon could read his mind she introduced the girl, "this is hyejin, she's new"
jaemin looked over at the girl, she had black shoulder hair length, and her eyes gave off a mysterious vibe, a cat-like vibe.
chaewon watched as hyejin's lips curved into a smile, "jaemin right? i've heard so much about you" she said in a soft-innocent like voice.
"what can I say, I'm a show stopper at this school," the blue-haired boy said sarcastically. hyejin started to laugh at his comment, twisting her hair around her finger.
hyejin watched as jaemin went and leaned over to give chaewon a kiss on her cheek, she was observant, to say the least. her dad was the ceo of a successful business in seoul, and she had all the money. she could get whatever she wanted, and whoever she wanted.
hyejin cleared her throat grabbing the attention of the trio, "so how long have you guys been together?" she asked all of a sudden.
chaewon stared at jaemin before giving her a smile, "for about 4 months now." hyejin stared at them before speaking, "ah, well you guys are a perfect match," she said looking down at her tray while playing with a piece of a french-fry, "too bad there is no one to tarnish it." that same smile she had on before crept up on her face. the bell rang, and jaemin went to take hyejin to her class because apparently, she didn't know where it was.
chaewon watched as jaemin left with hyejin, "something doesn't feel right," sana looked at her friend with confusion, "something is off about hyejin."
sana scoffed playfully, "we just met her, how can you say that right now? are you sick?" chaewon just shrugged.
"maybe I am sick."
