"Alright girls I'm heading out, just don't make a mess please," Chaewon's mom said with a warm smile.
"Okay Mom, we get it," Chaewon said while crossing her arms. Her mom was about to close the door before she swung it open again.
"I almost forgot," She ran up to her daughter giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Chaewon took a few steps back, wiping her clothes, "Yuck, mom I'm 17!"
Her mom gave her a smile, "You won't stay 17 very long, soon you'll miss being young."
Chae rolled her eyes, "Let's go Sana."
Sana pouted her lips, "lemme give her a hug first," she went up to her friend's mom, embracing her in a hug before she left her house.
"Okay, well you're definitely my mom's favorite." She said token back.
The microwave went off, Chaewon took the popcorn out and put it in a bowl before she returned back to the living room. Sana had already gotten the remote and was looking at all the options she had to choose from. Chaewon took a seat right beside her.
"Do you wan't to watch Sweet Home or twenty-five twenty-one?" Sana said facing her friend.
Chaewon shrugged, "I'm feeling more of a horror movie."
Sana had gotten a notification on her phone, "Jeno just texted me- Oh, there's gonna be a party this Saturday,"
Chaewon bit the side of her lip, "Are you okay Chaewon?" Sana asked.
"I don't wan't to go, he'll be there," Chaewon said.
"I doubt we'll see him since like the whole school is going, plus it's going to be fun," Sana said holding both of Chaewon's hands while facing her.
"I've made up my mind, I'm not going." Sana's smile faded into a frown.
"C'mon Chae, remember what you're mom said, you won't be 17 anymore and you'll regret not showing up; trust me."
Chaewon crossed her arms, "You're going to stay with Jeno the whole night."
"Chae, I'm not going to leave you; and you know that." Sana said giving her a known look, "I promise to stay beside you."
A smile arose from Chaewon, "I see you smiling," Sana cooed.
Chae playfully rolled her eyes, "Fine, I'm going."
