after the bell had runged chaewon said her goodbye's to sana before going to her locker and shoving her books into her backpack. it was like a routine every day so jaemin could walk her home. she did the usual, looking around making sure she didn't forget anything.
chaewon proceeded to walk to the front doors where she usually waits for jaemin. s+he was scrolling through her feed when she bumped into someone.
chaewon quickly averted her eyes from her phone to apologize for bumping into them, but all that vanished, "oh, hey hyejin I didn't see you there. what are you doing here?"
for a split second chaewon had thought she saw hyejin roll her eyes at her. she plastered a smile at chae, i'm just here waiting for my plus 1"
chaewon blinked a few times, "you have a plus 1? whatever that is."
hyejin crossed her arms while smirking and looking dead at chaewon, "and you will never guess who it is."
chaewon's eyes bored into hyejin's, "well- I never asked" she mumbled.
"what was that?"
"nothing-"
hyejin started to walk closer to chaewon, "he's so perfect -i mean he would walk me to my class and he agreed to walk me to my house today" hyejin said twisting her hair with her fingers while looking at chaewon with a small smirk.
chaewon started to look around in confusion, "is it hyunbin?"
this time hyejin rolled her eyes, "open your eyes chaewon, who always walks me to class?" she said icily looking at the girl.
chaewon's eyes widen a fraction, "na jaemin?"
hyejin clapped her hands together looking up towards the ceiling for a second, "finally you got it and you're not getting in the way of us."
chaewon did a sardonic laugh, "you do realize that he is my boyfriend, right?"
"Oh hey chae" the two were interrupted by jaemin.
chaewon crossed her arms scoffing at jaemin, "you never told me that you were going to walk hyejin home."
jaemin softly sighed, "i know, I was going to tell you but I forgot. It's no biggie." jaemin shrugged.
hyejin suddenly tapped jaemin's shoulder, "don't waste time on her, we need to get going." hyejin turned around fast enough making her hair hit chaewon in the face.
chae started spitting out the hair that had gone in her mouth, "now that's cold" she said taking out pieces of hair from her mouth, "how did it even manage to hit me" she thought to herself.
