"i can't believe he did that, "sana said to the distraught girl at school, "what a bastard, " sana didn't hesitate to give her friend a needed hug.
chaewon looked at her phone, jaemin had been texting her all day asking why she wasn't answering and texting back.
she rolled her eyes at this, "seriously, he should have realized what he did."
sana and chaewon were walking down the halls trying to get to class in the busy hallways, "chae, how come you've been ignoring my texts?" chaewon heard someone say. she mentally cursed herself before going right past him. sana saw what happened and jaemin looked at sana with a confused face, "is she mad at me?"
sana looked jaemin in the eyes for the last time before shrugging her shoulders, "don't play dumb jaemin." she said before catching up to her friend.
her comment left jaemin confused, he furrowed his eyebrows and started scratching the back of his neck.
and that's what happened for the rest of the school day. chaewon had been ignoring jaemin even when he waited for her to go walking. she didn't even want to see his face at this point, instead, she would walk home with sana.
what made her madder was seeing him with hyejin. in the hallways, it looked like they were flirting. she was always twisting her hairand bating ehr eyelashes at him when they were talking. he always had that stupid smile on his face.
jaemin was confused, what could he have possibly done to upset chaewon? it didn't make sense.
"yo, aren't you going home now?" renjun asked jaemin who was still at school, "you were supposed to go with chaewon."
jaemin sighed, "yeah well she's ignoring me." renjun squinted his eyes a little before speaking, "did you do something to make her mad?" he asked.
"no, well I don't know what I did wrong." he told Renjun while holding one strap from his backpack.
renjun shrugged, "she could be on her period, it's properly going to be better tomorrow." he said before waving to jaemin before he left the school.
but it was the exact opposite, the next day chaewon ignored him all day. and the next day after that and the next, the whole week chaewon had been ignoring jaemin which made him confused. every time he would try to talk with her, she would smile at him weakly before walking right past him.
At least she smiled at him.
