3rd Person POV
Auradon Prep was lit up with all kinds of bright colors. Lights, fireworks, you name it. The whole kingdom was celebrating the crowning of King Ben.
Five of the party goers we're celebrating for a different reason.
Mal and Evie were together, center of the party, dancing together. "Oh, yeah. Oh, oh yeah!" Mal sung as she watched a crowd of people carry her boyfriend, newly crowned King Ben, around the party.
"Lets set it off! Oh yeah!" Evie sang, people gathering around her and Mal to join the celebration
"Oh-way, oh-way, hey!" The whole crowd exclaimed, clapping in sync. Ben was set down in the middle of the crowd as everyone began to dance around him.
"Kings and Queens, it's our time to rise. Write the book, story of our lives. This is us taking back the night" Ben sang, addressing everyone. They all bowed towards him.
"Oh-way, oh-way!" The chorus sang in reply.
Mal broke her way through the crowd towards Ben. "Break the spell, we were born this way. Be yourself, forget the DNA." Ben reached his hand out, which Mal greatly took, and he spun her around next to him. "Everybody raise your hands and say," Mal prompted everyone, leading them to clap to the beat.
"Oh-way, oh-way, hey!"
Evie danced down a line of students. "Sound the alarm, get on your feet. Let's set it off and rock this beat. Dance 'til your heart is wild and free,"
"Oh-oh-oh,"
Doug and Evie began to dance together with everyone. "Feelin' the power, let it all out Like what you see in the mirror, shout We got the keys, the kingdom's ours," Doug offered his hand to Evie and spun her in a circle, leading her towards the group Mal and Ben were a part of.
"Ooh-oh-oh. Oh-way, oh-way, hey!"
"Let's set it off, oh yeah" everyone sang together, raising their hands in celebration. They linked their arms together as they danced in a circle. "Start a chain reaction and never let it stop-" everyone posed together with the music.
"Let's set it off, oh yeah," they joined arms together once again to continue in the circle. "You can make it happen with everything you got. Let's set it off!" Together, everyone danced. Punching down, then towards their chest, and releasing their hands in the air. Repeating the dance as the music went on.
"Get ready, set it off (come on), we got to set it off (on the right). Get ready, set it off (to the left), we got to set it off!"
Off to the side of the party, Jane was sitting alone on a bench. Her actions earlier were settling in and in her mind, she wasn't welcomed at this moment of celebration.
