As I sat on Logan's truck cargo bed, he paced back and forth, seething with anger. "So how do we want to handle this?" Peter asked, trying to diffuse the situation.

"I want to kill him," Logan replied, his voice trembling with emotion. "Beat him until he realizes all he could've made us lost and then just continue because he deserves it."

"We aren't going to do that," I interjected. "I know you are upset, but we are together, Logan. He lost. We're all here about to have babies, and nothing will change that."

"I love that for us, Lily," Logan said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "Especially that you can stay positive after learning all that snake has done. But he can't get away with it."

As we continued to discuss our options, I suggested that I could talk to the person who had caused all this trouble. "Absolutely the fuck not," Logan exclaimed. "We don't know what he will do. I'm not letting him near you, Lily. And no, I wouldn't even allow you if you weren't pregnant."

But eventually, Logan decided to confront Adam himself. He stormed away from the car and tracked down Adam at the empty football field. I could hear their muffled conversation from the other end.

"What the fuck did I do to you for you trying to ruin my life?" Logan demanded, pushing the other guy to the floor.

Adam laughed. "Oh, you don't remember? When we were younger, you always had a great life." Logan's face was a mask of confusion and anger as he listened to the other person's words.

"What are you talking about?" he demanded. "We've never met before." Logan listened intently as the person spoke. "What do you mean you were my friend?" he asked, slightly confused.

"We went to elementary school together, Logan," Adam said. "I was always there for you, but you didn't know it. You were too busy with your own life."

Logan nodded slowly, trying to process everything. "And you had a crush on me?" he asked, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"Yes, I did," Adam admitted. "I told you about my feelings, but you said you didn't go that way. Can you imagine you sharing that secret with a person you care about and having them crush you in minutes.  And then I found out that you were secretly in love with someone else."

Logan felt a knot forming in his stomach. "Who?" he asked quietly."Peter that you said was supposedly your other best friend," the person said. "I tried to let go of my feelings for you, but I couldn't. I went to therapy for years to try and move on, but it didn't work."Logan could see the pain in Adam's eyes. "I had no idea," he said softly. "That's not the worst part," Adam said, their voice shaking. "I moved away to try and start over, but when I came back, I found out that you had changed. You weren't the same person I used to know. You were with girls that didn't matter, just passing them like paper."

"I didn't know that you were my friend from elementary, we were 8 years old its been 10 fucking years," Logan said, trying to clarify. "And I didn't know that you had a crush on me. And as for me being with the Peter, I wasn't bisexual back then. I didn't even know what it meant. And as for me and Peter, we didn't hook up until freshman year of high school. Not that I owe you an explanation," Logan added, feeling defensive

"I finally move back home where life was better for me," the person continued, turning back to face Logan. "I had full intent of letting everything go, doubting we'd ever come across each other, or neither would I see Peter. And then I met this girl Ellie who's nice, and she has a best friend named Lily. For the first time, I found a girl cute, and she's genuinely a good person. But then she becomes dirty and horrible because I found out she's hanging around Peter. And my blood is fuming. I feel like I'm back to being a loser ,because Peter is all charming and sweet, and she won't stop talking about him."
