The fourth stage and fourth layer of society is the Swirl.
Their peculiarity is that over time they can get the ability to fly, as in a universe full of mountains and giant oceans, people need to be saved quickly. Planes and ships may not make it in time. So now every year the children go to the nearest beach or bay to find out if they are saviors.
Children need to put their hand in the water and wait a little. Selected children have a magical white pebble in their hand, similar to a white bean. In that way they find the water chooses children who will help save dying species of fish, clean the oceans, or help creatures on land. Such people are the first to go to save the country or win in disputes.
But, no one talks about the fifth kind. They say that on the first day, even when the children are sleeping, dim snakes come to some of them in their dreams. The snakes look at the children, knowing that the children are not afraid. Yes, the fearless are singled out. Awless. Such people can be dangerous if they are not smart.
"A fearless man without morals is the real evil", Mr. Frederick told me.
He taught children to fly many years ago, I never understood why he calls these people Awless, and not lion-hearted or fearless. Now you know the first secret. The secret of the fifth ritual.
