A group of children was led through the walnut alley. Under each tree were someone's names and dates, it was interesting that the trees were both young and very old, but they were planted not in order of old to young, but very chaotically.

Now the new students of the school were standing near a three-story brick building with small windows without bars. French balconies were only in the corridors between floors.

"This house seems to be newer than most I've seen." Kalin thought.

Kalin looked at Charelynn, while Charelynn looked at the children around her. To the left of the couple stood a lost-looking boy. He was a couple of minutes late and didn't seem very communicative.

Charelynn thought for just a second, glancing at the woman who had led them into the house. Then, she lightly pushed him and whispered:

"Hi, I'm Charelynn, and this is Kalin," she pointed at her neighbor, who quickly bent her hand for a light wave and smiled.

"Hey, I'm Leo," the boy was a little confused at the last word, most likely he made up his name or is just very shy.

"Good thing he doesn't stutter, I just hate like it." thoughts swirled in Kalin's head.

The woman was still talking about rules or behavior (no one was listening, so everyone had already forgotten) when a man came out of the house.

He was fifty years old, his face had many small scars, wrinkles and freckles. He wore a dark green cap, a dark blue woolen coat, burgundy trousers, a green shirt and a patterned waistcoat. On his feet were rough boots caked with mud with multi-colored laces.

"Hehe, children, I'm glad to welcome you. I'll show you, tell you everything, and focus on the beautiful place: the dining room! Oh, the food here, haha!" the woman who we thought was a teacher nodded her head and left.

He continued:

"I see, you have already met Ms. Rosemary, she is a strict biologist here. Ha ha, she tells such interesting things that nothing flies out of my ears! I love animals as much as biology. Hehe."

There was silence, and he patted his pockets as if looking for something, and then added:

"That's right, I'm Professor Bilous. Your guide and teacher. I will teach you about everything that is and "isn't" in the forest. You will learn about all kinds of living and non-living things, and about trees, and about time in the woods, and about how don't get caught by the bears or whatever. Haha. Eh, kids, follow me, I'll show you everything, and then we'll come back here and I'll assign everyone rooms."

Everyone was fascinated by him. It was hard to digest what he had just said.

Poor Leo stuck his head in his neck. For some reason, the girls thought that he belonged to the Dust society, because he did not have courage, and communication and openness are not about him.

Charelynn was known for her willingness to talk to everyone, so when someone passed by, she would say hello or ask for a name or something.

Kalin just walked and looked around while the owl sat on her shoulder. Considering that it didn't even scare their new acquaintance Leo, it was knowing that animals were commonplace here.

If you look closely, you can see a cat or a rabbit in someone's arms.

They passed the nut alley that was now on their right and walked straight down a path that led to a large but not tall building.

"Ho-ho, this is our hall, it's where we have instruction on how to behave in this area and classes for all the kids if there's a match in the program. The room, hehe, is cold in the winter, so we're here more often in early autumn than now." Professor Bilous concluded.

It was as if there was no school as a building here. It had the impression that this is a recreation center with scattered buildings on the territory and also with a large number of plants and ponds.

Such an incomprehensible place was really frightening, because it was extremely strange.

It was clear from the conversations of some children that their parents or other relatives studied here.

"My mother said that one time they had a toad in that living room, so they put it by the fireplace, and then somebody's cat ate it." said a girl in such a tone as if she was summarizing the fact.

"So, it is the reason why they don't let us keep frogs now?" another black-haired girl asked in fear.

"It would be better to ban cats," concluded the boy with the down jacket.

Somewhere in the forest, birds began to scream. The man did not react at all, and the children ruffled their ears.

"Uh, Professor Bilous, is this here....uh...often?" asked someone who was walking in the front rows.

"Ho-ho, kids, that doesn't happen here. Everything is safe here as long as you're with adults. We'll keep you safe."

"This means, that it is dangerous here without adults," thought Kalin.

After such birds cries, the crowd quieted down and quietly walked along the stone road to the hall.

They turned on the light in the building because it was already dark.

As if one by one, lights of different shades of yellow began to burn in the houses on the territory.
