An owl with light brown eyes was looking at the girl.

Kalin recoiled a little, but at the same moment she approached the branches to look closely at the creature.

The owl just looked around, but did not move.

"Hello, darling, what are you doing here? Are you looking at the new students?" she smiled.

"Hoo-hoo" the owl sang softly. The bird lightly poked its head out from behind the branches and began to make its way into the light.

"Do you want to go with me? Will you teach me? Huh? I think you will tell me a lot of interesting stories," the little girl squinted at the axis, smiling.

"Hu!" as if an owl screeched.

A bird with beautiful feathers covered the girl's right palm with its wing, slowly pecking at her left hand.

"Good thing I'm wearing a fall jacket," Kalin thought.

At that time, the owl, rustling the branches of the bushes, finally sat down on the girl's shoulder, lightly resting on her head.

In appearance, the girl's head was slightly smaller than the whole owl. With that extra weight on her shoulders, she joined her group.

"Wow, you found your teacher yet?" Charelynn laughed.

"Yes, I heard her and she came to me. Look, what a force! And her eyes are so intelligent, I like her." the girls remained at the beautiful bird.

A footsteps attracted the attention of the girls.

A lady dressed in a woolen gray jacket and a gray-brown skirt approached the gate. Her face was quite young, and her hair was short (a couple of centimeters above her shoulders).

Her eyes ran over the pupils, but stopped approvingly at Kalin.

She smiled and gave the teacher a slight nod. Without looking away, the teacher also smiled and quickly looked over the girl's shoulder.

Pupils were called to the school grounds, and while all the children were entering, the last children who managed to be half an hour late were catching up.

Up close, the school looked even more shabby and ramshackle.

There were many plants on the territory, and a little further the roofs of outbuildings approached,

"I wonder what subjects are taught in those houses?" thought the girl, and then looked at her neighbor, who was just as attentively looking around.

"I really want to see my room and start learning all this magic, if these sciences can be called that." said Charelynn, still looking around with enchanted eyes.
