Grian POV
Grian awoke with a start, his heart pounding in his chest. He looked over at Scar who was still sleeping peacefully at his side. As Grian stared at Scar he got a small feeling. Then he felt a little tingle at the very base of the back of his neck. The blonde man shrugged it off and stretched his wings making sure not to arouse Scar. Grian walked over to the furnace, took out some pork, and cooked two pieces for both him and Scar.
The brunette started to wake as the smell of porkchop filled the room.
"Raaahhhh," Scar yawned. "Hey G. Is that breakfast?" Scar asked.
"Yep!" Grian replied, smiling in Scars direction. "A little something to prepare us if we have to fight off a Boogey," Grian said gnawing on his portion of the pork. Scar also dove into his meal just as Pearl came downstairs.
"Hello you two," she said, stumbling a little as her feet slipped on the stairs. "Well that's one way to wake up," Pearl said, her eyes wide in surprise.
Pearl munched on some bread as the three walked outside of their makeshift "base". Just as they walked outside a message appeared for each player.

As Scar and Pearl conversed about who they thought the Boogeyman was, Grian was suddenly filled with malicious and murderous intent. He looked over at Scar and something stopped him. No. Not him. Anyone but him, please.

"What?" Grian said out loud.
"You okay Gri?" Pearl asked. Grian's mind was muddled and confused. His vision started to blur with a purplish-red tint. He locked eyes with Scar and saw there was concern in his eyes. Grian looked down and smiled evilly.
"Yeah Pearl. I'm doing just...GREAT!" With that last word Grian pulled out his iron ax, turned, and attacked Scar. Scar just barely dodged the attack and Grain's ax left a pretty nice dent in a birch tree.
"Sca-a-ar!" Grian sang. The blonde giggled cruelly and went after Scar again, but this time Pearl blocked his strike. But Pearl didn't know that Grian already picked his target. She wasn't supposed to be a factor in this.
Grian sneered and slashed again with more accuracy. He caught Pearl's shoulder and she yelled and backed away. As Grian approached Scar and the brunette was forced against a tree. Scar looked at him with such fear and sorrow that Grian faltered. "S-Scar?" He looked around and realized what he had done.
He could feel that the Curse was still there but its grasp on him had weakened.
"I-I'm sorry it just happened so fast," Grian said, feeling the guilt rise in his chest.
"Grian you're the-" Scar started.
"The Boogeyman, I know,"
Grian stared at Scar, who still looked fairly frightened. Grian backed up, scared of himself and what he would do if the Curse got worse. Pearl was still holding her shoulder, blood dripping from between her fingers. Scar carefully approached Grian and gently touched his chin bringing Grian's eyes up to meet his.
