Family background.

The alarm began to ring as it struck 6 in the morning, but Earl was still in his slumber he had a favourable dream, he saw that he had been the topper of the class and within 2 minutes of his sweet dream his mother comes and says"honey rise and shine or you will be late to class which you hate", Earl was punctual at everything that he did but was an introvert, people around him said that it seems like he is egoistic and had God complex, but people who knew him said he was the most generous, caring, loving and amazing person they had ever met in their life.

The school was close to his house and the management was quite good, however, the rules of the school were a little rigid to those who didn't belong to the same village, as the villagers had put in their hard work and money while building the school and believed that their children must be the first priority, but a few seats were kept from students from other villages. 

The school had a compound which could fit at least 1000  people and had a football ground however it was smaller than the actual size, it also had trees such as mango, jackfruit, papaya, tamarind, guava and the most integral tree to have when in Goa, the coconut tree. The institute also had the founder's monument, a cross, and a statue of Mother Mary and Jesus as the saviour of the world statute, all these monuments and statues were at least 20 feet tall, towards the left-hand side of the compound, towards the opposite side was the bus stand and the church, towards the right was the college and multiple stationary stores and behind the school was the higher secondary.

After rubbing his eyes and stretching his hands he headed to the washroom, but unfortunately, his sister was taking her own time, he went to the kitchen and complained about it, "Mom what do I do she is taking all day to get ready, and how did she wake up so early today?", his mother replied, "well son your sister is going for a study trip, she has no class today."

 Earl asks "Then who will come to fetch me from school mama?" Earl asked, "Well don't worry son I will come, he said" No mama you don't have to take the trouble to come I will come with Joshua and his sister", his mom said "They are gone to their grandma's house and will return only after a week, so I will come and yes you know what your old friends are back now you will not have to wait for their phone calls or video calls and they will join the school from tomorrow, see that you help them with the notes alright." Earl asks "Mom did their cousin come back too, well son, unfortunately, she is not here as both her parents got prestigious jobs there just like your father. Earl went away as though a black cloud had gushed on him as he had a massive crush on her. Then he heard the warning bell of the school and he said" Ariel come fast or we will be late, she said," I am coming bro let me wear my shoes" and she wore her shoes in a haste and headed towards the school that day.

 Ariel was the opposite she was an extrovert, always late(she would reach just five minutes before the final bell ), messy as well, impulsive and courageous kind of a daredevil, but nowadays her behaviour had changed ever since she met this guy, she never felt like that for any guy before she didn't know what was happening to her she talked to him which made girls envious, as he was one of the coolest guys in the higher secondary(junior college), and yeah the talks always revolved about the choir practices and nothing else. However, the way they looked at each other seemed like they knew each other for ages and both would blush like anything no matter how hard they tried not to. 

As today was the study trip they were supposed to go to the museum, the students boarded the bus and as they were boarding one guy yelled "Lizard" After that the girls started to panic but just in time the class teacher came, "What is the matter with you girls it's just a lizard and it's on the floor and it's not even harmful just relax now" and she fixed her spectacles, then the second teacher came and said, "alright I will take the attendance so please answer your roll call."

As she was calling out roll no 16 she heard the guy saying present but couldn't see him, as the other students noticed that she was searching for the guy they said at once, Ma'am look behind as she turned she said "Oh not again alright now go and sit I don't want to listen to any of your silly excuses."

Well, he was David the same guy who every girl wanted to date, but he would talk to very limited people especially students who belonged to the football team and choir since he would maintain a distance from proud peacocks technically peahens and rowdy people hence some people would pretend to be kind and polite when he was around but he also had amazing skills he would catch people instantly he had the skill to find who is real and who is fake, he looked nothing less than a K-pop singer his skin was flawless, however, he was not as white as snow, but was kind of wheatish he was 5 feet 7 inches tall and was quite skinny even though he munched on unhealthy food and fizzy drinks, people wondered what he did about his physique, his hair was kind of dull and jet black but would always smell good as he would use almond oil, listening to that his friends and relatives tried the same brand but all in vain ,they got the side effects of it as everyone is not the same, every individual has different needs due to which they all thought he was bluffing. He was also one of the best footballers in the higher secondary and would be one of the top 10 students, his mom made him focus on his studies and his dad made him focus on his game and anyone could say that he was a one-in-a-million kind of guy.

Only two seats were vacant who would be the person that will seat next to David, stay tuned for the next chapter.
