Feelings Unexpressed

Series of unfortunate events.

Ariel's doorbell started ringing just before she had to go to her workplace, she was a bit annoyed as to who had come at that hour when she saw from the peephole she saw that it was her bestie who had come to pick up her so that she could pick a pattern for her dress that she was supposed to wear for the wedding, Ariel was kind of hesitant to go as there was an important meeting but Skyla said " Oh please these meetings will come now and then let someone else take over, as I am gonna get married only once please Airy please I beg you to come" Ariel replied " alright drama queen but yeah see that I will be able to dance comfortably in the dress" Ariel tells her to wait as she had to inform in the office that she will not be able to come to the office as she had some family function and couldn't do anything about it.

They finally reached the store where the groom's mother and cousin were already there and when they saw Ariel they were overjoyed as they saw her after ages, then the groomsmen also came and to Ariel's shock, it was David and Apollo.

 Apollo greeted her but David was kind of hesitant as he was unable to face Ariel after what had happened when he had met with an accident Ariel was also adamant and egoistic she thought that it was not her fault and it was his duty to greet or at least smile at her as she remembered that she moved out with her scooter at dawn when he was in the hospital and deep inside her blood was boiling as he was acting in a manner that they are absolute strangers. 

The store assistant began to show the wedding gowns and the groomsmen were asked to go upstairs as according to tradition, the groom wasn't here at that time but he had decided on 3-4 suit designs for the groomsmen. 

As they went upstairs, the entrance door flung open Ariel's head of department entered there and hugged Ariel tightly, Ariel was having a hard time breathing but couldn't say anything as she was the head and senior until the bride asked her who she was only after that she stopped hugging Ariel. Ariel told the bride that she was the head of the department "Sky I am sorry but I didn't call her here". At this moment out of nowhere, Georgie entered and said " Ariel you saved us all by not coming today as the clients who came were entangled in lawsuits for not paying their clients and partners that it's today's headline, Sky we are sorry for interrupting your wedding dress appointment please pardon us." Now out of appreciation and a little bit of embarrassment, the head of the department from Ariel's radio station said " I am sorry for ruining your appointment so I will pay for the bridesmaid's dress as according to tradition  the groom has to pay for the  bridal dress." 

Skyla said "Sorry but I don't want any favors and if you want to purchase anything for Ariel please you may do so but please don't interfere in this wedding" Ariel started to apologize to her senior, but the head said, " Ok no worries, I am sorry for interfering, I should have realized that I am not acquainted with you and I should respect your views, so I should make a leave sorry once again". 

Then the assistant asked Skyla if she knew who she was talking to, and her jaws dropped when she told her that she was the owner's sister and that if it was someone else she would have canceled the appointment seems like your friend was loved by her or else she never shows mercy your lucky is all I could say.

Ariel said "Yes I am, now let me tell you that the bride is my best friend so show us something that will look best on her please sweetie" Then the assistant showed them multiple dresses, she changed multiple dresses and one dress if her mom liked her mother-in-law didn't like but then Ariel went and searched for a dress which she thought would look perfect on Skyla and asked the assistant to help her with the dress and stepped out of the trial room.

When she moved out they all were awestruck and  the mother-in-law asked Ariel "Did you work here before?" Ariel nodded no, and they all loved the dress the price was also quite reasonable and did fit their budget. Then it was time to select the bridesmaid's dresses and as per the theme they chose purple, the assistant started to show them the dresses and asked them to try them on the dresses. When Ariel came out of the trial room everyone's jaws dropped and Ariel got a bit cautious as she assumed that the dress didn't look good on her but the truth was she looked extraordinary. Skyla said "My goodness you look so good why don't you dress up like this tomboy" From the other side the other one also wears the dress and comes out, where they didn't react the way they reacted for Ariel as she wore the same or similar type of dresses so she felt that she didn't look good and said that she didn't like it much, so the assistant showed more dresses and deep inside Ariel didn't like them as they were quite revealing but kept mum as the other bride's maid was the groom's cousin and not cause any tension between them.
