Lucas's Revenge (Part 2) ( 9)

Third Person's POV

The other rangers were gathered at the clock tower in shock and disbelief over the events of the past few hours.

"There's got to be something that we can do?" Trip asked holding a part of his ribs

"We have to save Natalie" Wes said worried to death about his sister "Whatever it takes"

Jen went over and put a hand on the red ranger's shoulder as they sat at the benches in the tower, while Lucas and Jen stood.

"We will, Wes" Jen said confidently "We will bring her home"

"But, how?" Katie blurted out as they held their helmets in their hands "She is now under Samurhive's control"

"I don't know, but we'll find a way" Wes said confidently as Lucas was quiet

"Rangers!" Circuit said letting himself be known as himself and Riley stepped/flew into view

"There is a way" the younger Walker sibling explained as all the remaining rangers turned their attention to her and Circuit

"What is it?" Lucas immediately spoke up

"The system says that his weakness relates to the jewel on his belt and the sword he wields" Riley explains as she brings up Samurhive's file on the holographic screen

The mutant's picture appears to them spinning, showing off the features.

"It seems like the only way to break the spell that Natalie is under is for someone to connect with the jewel at the same time someone connects with Natalie" Riley continues as the other rangers looked uncertain

"But, what about his sword" the green ranger asked

Circuit flapped his wings as he flew over to the middle of the table the rangers were seated at.

"One of you has to use Samurhive's sword on Natalie!" Circuit said sadly (A/N: If you have seen the Power Rangers Samurai's episode when Kevin is put under a spell you will get what this is about)

"But the question is..." Katie trailed off, making the others, including Riley and Circuit, look at her

"Who is going up against Natalie?" Riley finished after her sister playing with the bracelets on her wrist

"Riley's right" Trip said looking from one face to the next "Natalie is an amazing fighter, which two is going up against her?"

"I will!" Wes said without hesitation

"Jen, what about you?" Trip suggested, and the rangers pondered about it, but Jen had another idea

"Lucas, what about you?" Jen suggested and the others looked shocked

"Why me?" He asked "why not you? Or Katie for that matter?"

"You've gone up against him before" Jen said "We need someone with the experience, so we can get a better angle on this"

The blue ranger was still very hesitant going up against a very familiar foe.

"Just give me a second" Lucas said rubbing the back of his neck before walking over to the window where Natalie usually sat and looked out over the city.

Various emotions ran rampant through his body and mind, and he simply didn't know what to do for the first time in what seemed like a million years.

Trip went to walk over to his friend, but Wes put a hand on his shoulder, stopping him from walking any farther.

"Let me talk to him" Wes said after the green ranger gave him a hesitant look

Wes gave Trip another pat on the shoulder and then made his way over to Lucas.
