Thor and Sif sleep peacefully in Bilskirnir, but Loki has other plans. He sneaks into their room with shears and mischevious intent. He slowly grabs Sif's lucious golden hair, and begins cutting it carefully. By the time Sif wakes up, her once long lucious hair was no more. Sif ran to her beloved husband Thor and cried.

"Who are you?! Where is my Sif?!" Thor exclaims.

"It is me, husband!" Sif says, tears running down her face.

"What happened to your hair?!" Thor says, infuriated.

"I don't know! I woke up and I had no hair!" Sif said.

Thor immediately knew the perpetrator.

"Loki." He mumbled to himself. He exited Bilskirnir and used Mjölnir to fly across Asgard in search of Loki. The God of Thunder was out of luck, but found the Allfather roaming around instead.

"All-Father." Thor says.

"Oh shit." The Allfather mumbles. "Hey, Thor!"

"Have you seen Loki around anywhere?" Thor asks.

"Um.. n-no! I haven't..!." Odin says.

"Heh, nice try." Thor says before calling Mjölnir and throwing it full force into "Odin" sending him flying. This so-called "Odin" which was actually Loki masquerading as the All-Father.

When Loki fell to the ground, his disguise had already disappeared. Thor grabbed Mjölnir and then him by the neck and lifted him.

"HOW DARE YOU! YOU CUT THE HAIR OF MY BELOVED SIF! HOW MUST I BE WITH A LADY WHO LOOKS LIKE THAT?!" Thor shouts.

"Thor, look. I'm sorry, okay? I will make things right! I promise!" Loki says, frantically.

"And how?!" Thor shouts.

"I know how, okay! I have an idea!" Loki exclaims.

Huginn transports Heimdallr and Baldur to Svartalfheim, the realm of the Dwarves.

"So now, we travel to Nidavellir to meet Brokkr and Sindri, who will use this ring to make a weapon, somehow."

The two gods walk to a river and find a boat, which they then ride. They chat along the way.

"Can I ask you a personal question, Heimdallr?" Baldur says.

"What is it?" Heimdallr replies.

"How is.. never mind." Baldur says.

"What is it?" Heimdallr says.

"I do not want to ask, it may be abit too intrusive." Baldur says.

"It is fine, just tell me." Heimdallr asks.

"Fine. How is it that you have nine mothers?" Baldur asks, curiously.

"...i'm glad you asked. All-Father put a curse on nine jötunn sisters, that they would each be pregnant with 1 single boy. One sister would have the boy for one month. Then the boy was passed onto the other sister. The cycle repeated for 9 months, until the last sister gave birth to me. After my birth, All-Father- I think we're here."

The two gods had stumbled into their destination, Nidavellir. The dwarves that spotted them waved, as they were allies of the Æsir. They got off of the boat and were greeted by Dulinn, a dwarf.

"What brings you two fine men here?"
Dulinn asks.

"We are in search of Brokkr and Sindri." Heimdallr says.

"Oh, okay." Dulinn passes them a map. "These are directions to their forge. They should be there." The dwarf says.

"Thank you." Heimdallr says. The two gods travel through Nidavellir with the directions given.
