eid mubarak. this was the first time in years that we got together with our family again, and i feel so happy. everyone congratulated me because i started wearing hijab, everyone wished eachother a happy eid. i wish it could be like this more often, no matter how often some aunts want to gossip i still want to be with them on days like this and laugh with them. no matter how much i have to clean up after everyone is finished with eating, i'm more than happy doing it all. i just wish i would feel like this more often, most of the time it's just lonely.
