A month after Dartmoor, Zyair wakes up and heads downstairs to find his dad, John, Mrs Hudson and Mattheo all stood there "Morning?" he frowns in confusion. "Happy Birthday Mi Amor." Mattheo smiles, going over and giving him a gently kiss. Zyair smiles, going slightly red "Thank you." he responds. "Happy Birthday Zyair." Sherlock tells his son. "Thanks dad." Zyair smiles. "Happy Birthday, I have to go back down to mine. Don't want your pancakes burning." Mrs Hudson smiles, giving him a quick hug before rushing off downstairs. The four boys chuckle "Happy Birthday Zyair." John tells him. "Thanks John." Zyair nods, Mattheo wrapping his arms round him in a hug.

One month later, Zyair stands with his dad and John as the Director of the gallery finishes his speech "Falls of the Reichenbach, Turner's masterpiece, thankfully recovered owing to the prodigious talent of Mr. Sherlock Holmes." he tells the crowd, as he passes a small gift-wrapped box to Sherlock "A small token of our gratitude." he tells him. Sherlock takes the box and looks at it "Diamond cufflinks. All my cuffs have buttons." he remarks. "He means thank you." John tells the Director. "Do I?" Sherlock asks. "Just say it." John tells him. "Thank you." Sherlock tells the Director insincerely before he starts to walk away. John grabs him "Hey." he tells him, making his stop for the press to take photographs.

Zyair stands with his dad and John outside a banker's house, the rescued man standing with his arms round his wife and son as the press film and photograph "Back together with my family after my terrifying ordeal; and we have one person to thank for my deliverance... Sherlock Holmes." he tells the press. Everyone applaud as the boy smiles and offers a small gift-wrapped box to Sherlock. He takes it and rattles it briefly "Tie pin. I don't wear ties." he tells John and Syair. "Shh." John tells him, Zyair struggling not to laugh.
