"Don't you dare" Sprout snorted, small bits of smoke came out of his nostrils. "I don't want to.." Next thing I knew Sprout's was jumping the rest of the way out of the water, and right back but now he had my arm playfully in his mouth. When I hit the the water and i opened my eyes Sprout was swimming in a circle around me. His whole body moving up and down with the waves. Starring right into my light brown eyes, he moved under me to where I fit right behind his small orange horns. And just as quick as he got me into the water, I was out. Now he was flying me into the sky, spinning and letting out small roars as he went. I let my arms loose, closed my eyes, smiling ear to ear, loosened the grip of my legs, and put my full trust in Sprout as I plummeted to the ground. Laughing, still smiling, pretending to be a dragon, I plummeted. Sprout coming up beside me with his tongue hanging out of his mouth, his bright green eyes staring into my brown ones. Small streams of gas came out of each side of his mouth, fading at the end, slobber running off his tongue. We crashed through the clouds. Sprout then rapped me in his wings and I climbed into the saddle. As we began are calmer decent I didn't talk, not like he would talk back but it was just perfectly peaceful. We landed right in front of Gobber. All of a sudden I remembered why we came to the island and what I was supposed to be doing.
"Hey lass"
"Hi Pa" I said in a happy, quick tone hoping he wouldn't noticed but then it dawned on me, I was soaked. Mutton head. I nervously looked at Sprout then shifted my feet.
"How was the swim? It looks like you too had fun" Gobber said giggling.
So he wasn't mad. Good. "It was good, I am sorry but I forgot about the rocks" I replied staring at the ground.
"Its fine you needed the break after all that village work, Ha Glad you enjoyed yourself today lass but we got to get back to berk. I got the rocks for the gronkles and the ones you were supposed too."
"Thanks" I said simply but happily.
We both attached the rocks to Sprout who looked very annoyed and I knew that he was probably wondering why the gronkles needed to eat. We both got on, me in the front Pa behind me and headed towards Berk. When we got back, a villager informed me Stoick wanted to see me. So I started off too the main hall. Complimenting villagers work and wincing at others. The A team flew through the sky, Gustav screaming upside-down on fang hook as Sprout chased them breathinghl is gas but only to loose and fall half way through the skys, asleep. Luckly Fang hook who wasn't affected by the gas caught him. Giggling I opened the doors, and saw Stoick, pacing back and forth.
"Hey Chief" I said in a go lucky tone hopeing to lighten his mood. He stopped and looked at me.
"Its Hiccup and the riders" In a worried and half dreadful tone.
He explained how they had lost Heather and the Flightmare only to get Heather back but hand over exactly want the hunters wanted in the first place. The dragon eye with more knowledge on dragons than we ever could comprehend.
"You know how those kids are, they won't stop until they stop hunting dragons or they get hurt or.."
"Worse" I finished
He nodded, "You and Sprout are just as good if not better and I know how you feel about fighting but you are good at it. So I was. If you. Gods can you go and help take care of this Viggo Grimborn" He finally spit out.
I don't like hurting others but these Hunters are not like anyone I know. They hunt, sell, and kill dragons. And rumors say that their leaders are worse. But is the village ready for me to leave for a more permanent amount of time.
"Is the A team ready" I ask.
"You and Astrid trained them"
"When am I needed" I ask professionally.
"As soon as possible"
I nodd and take my leave. Went to Gobber who apparently already knew and had my stuff packed.
Pulling me into a tight, breath taking, hug he said, "Be safe Dahila"
"Love you Pa" I reply.
I meet up with Sprout and take off into the now stary sky.
