{ep: the rock box dump}

it was just another day at bridge creek high when milo and wyatt were urgently pulled out of class by their over-the-top friend, paige. they had gotten her 45 text messages about something important she needed to tell them, but they were in psych, their favorite class! paige had decided to make up an excuse to get them to actually talk to her because her news couldn't wait.
"paige what the heck, this is the 3rd time this week!" milo said expecting her to 'warn' them about a new horrendous fashion trend such as socks with sandals making a comeback.
"we were learning about the development of the frontal lobe, this better be important," wyatt said, not wanting to be in the hallway and not understanding why this wasn't just between the girls.
"this is important. also if you hadn't ignored my 100 texts we wouldn't be here right now, and frontal lobe? come on we learned about that in health class." paige said just wanting to get to the point.
"since when do you remember something from years ago that isn't about you?"
"oh milo you do not want to go there with me right now."
"oh paige, maybe i do, i have the time today."
"if you two are expecting me to break this up, you better keep waiting because this is interesting."
"shut up wyatt."
"hey you don't tell him to shut up."
"i'll do what i want, don't tell me what to do."
"oh so you really want to get into this today?" the two began to bicker without either one really knowing why, they were both just done.
"oh my gosh paige, what was your big, important news?" wyatt said very fakely to get the girls to just move on.
"at least someone cares!"
"oh my god shut up paige."
"kid danger is sick!"
"girl-"
"ah ah ah milo, what's wrong with him paige?"
"he has hypermotility! its slowly affecting him and his speech, look at this livestream he did earlier." she pulled out her phone with the video pulled up for them. it was captain man and kid danger live from the man cave.
'hi everyone, its me, kid danger, and uh i just wanted to say that i'm okay! hypermotility isn't a disease its a superpower, so don't keep dumping rocks on your head because, i'm fine! thank you and god bless the city of swellview.' he said, but it was all mumbled and jumbled up as if he'd gotten his mouth numbed at the dentist.
"he sounds like his tongue is swollen.'
"don't be silly milo, he has hypermotility, a rare disease which is making him sick."
"i can't do this," milo said as she tried to leave the hallway and go back to class. she didn't want to stay there any longer than she needed to about some 'disease'.
paige pulled her back to show her how dedicated she was. "the people in swellview are doing a rock box dump for awareness, kinda like the ALS ice bucket challenge!"
"wow that is not smart," wyatt chimed in after his long silence.
"how about the rock box dump stays in stupid swellview, and we go back to our classes and talk about this later, cool? thanks," milo said as she walked back into her psych class, unaware she missed the whole frontal lobe lesson. "wyatt!"
"cya." he said as he followed milo back: he didn't really care about the frontal lobe, just making milo happy.

"there you go, this says your tongue swelling should go down in 15 to 30 minutes," captain man said to kid damger after applying some solution to his numb tongue. the interview on live television had been a disaster: he got stung on the tongue by a bee causing it to swell, and he tripped on a grape that twisted his ankle. that didn't do any good for the people who think his new power is a disease. even worse, when he tried explaining it, his tongue was so numb he could barely talk. he just wanted people to stop risking their safety and dumping rocks on their head. "well i sure do hope so."
"i have no idea what you said."
"hey guys," charlotte said coming out of the elevator with her tablet in hand.
"did you see our interview on the news?" ray asked her excitedly, not truly understanding the severity of what was happening. "yeah they're talking about it on the news right now."
"oh yeah? put on the news," kid danger said, tongue still swollen, so it came out a bit odd.
"why do you sound like that?"
"a bee stung his tongue, now it's numb."
"haha, that rhymed."
"oh yeah, i am awesome!" kid danger told him to turn on the news again with his numb tongue in which captain man mocked him again and turned it on. the news was worse than it had been before, and then talked about how piper was going to do the biggest rock box dump with 1500 rocks.
the two ran over to the tubes which henry tried to signal to send them away, but with his numb tongue and all, the tube system didn't understand him, making it a bit difficult to go off and do their superhero duties.
