henry, charlotte, and jasper were sitting in miss shapen's class, getting ready to take the swellview achievement test. after everyone had told the teacher they didn't know why they had to take the test, she made henry and jasper stand up and explain it to the class.

"every christmas the principal gives the teachers a bonus," henry started.

"and the better we get on the test, the more they all get paid," jasper continued.

"or as I like to say, the better the grades the better i get paids," miss shapen told the class.

"okay, uh, we're gonna sit down now," henry said as him and jasper sat back into their seats.

after the short explanation done by henry and jasper, miss shapen wanted maria von trapp and charlotte to switch places since she was in the front. even though she refused, shapen's response to this was, "do re mi don't care, now be a good female deer and move." she then revealed the reason charlotte would be in the front was because she was smarter than everyone else.

"now i know it might be tempting to copy off of charlotte's paper, but if i catch anyone cheating you know whats gonna happen?"

"no, what?"

"nothing." she then started 'mouth winking' due to her weak eyelid muscles, which made everyone very uncomfortable and requesting for her to stop.

"but cheating is wrong," jasper pointed out.

"not when an underpaid adult tells you to!" miss shapen snapped. "now you may open up your booklets and begin." everyone then began to look at charlotte's paper which honestly stressed her out.

after a few minutes had passed, an alarm started going off which startled everybody. "what's that sound?"

"oh that's just the swellview warning siren, continue with your tests."

"but shouldn't we find out what the emergency is?" everyone was alarmed by miss shapen's calm spirit at a time like this. "ugh fine." she'd turned on her smartboard to try and see if there were any news broadcasts about what was going on but to their surprise, it was just toilet wars. "see it's just a re-run of toilet wars, nothing to worry about." that was short-lived when there was a sudden interruption of the episode by the town's newscasters trent overunder and mary gaperman.

"we interrupt toilet wars for breaking news, this is not a drill," trent started, while interrupting mary in the process of the report. "an overleaking gas pipe has burst deep into the earth underneath swellview's gas company. according to experts, the gas is not harmful unless it escapes the ground," he paused which gave everyone a sense of relief, but he wasn't finished. "which it has, it is escaping from the ground right now: so if you're in swellview or the surrounding areas, we advise you evacuate swellview and the surrounding areas."

"captain man, kid danger, where are you?" mary asked in a panicked tone. miss shapen turned off the broadcast and unsuccessfully convinced the class that everything was okay and they should return to taking their tests.
