xv. before the whirlwind

"swellview. a nice little town. it had a swell view. of what, you may ask? nobody knows. home of superhero-sidekick duo captain man and kid danger. make swellview your next vacation destination, and you'll find all its wonders."

"what a weird commercial to convince people to visit." milo, wyatt, and paige had decided to watch informational videos on swellview before they made the long trip there.

"yeah, i'm not sure if i want to know about 'all its wonders'."

"guys this is so exciting! i'm gonna get my bracelet back and i'll get to see the guy and-" milo tried cutting herself off but wyatt and paige's jaws had already dropped.

"well well well."
"blondie's got you hooked doesn't he?"

unbeknownst to those 2, he had been all milo could think about since the fairstival. it was hard not to. now she finally knew his name:

henry hart.

hopefully he won't say he's in a band again.

oh he definitely will.

"i mean maybe. he's really cute and seemed super sweet, he just seemed nervous. i really just needed to stop being judgmental i guess."

"it's about time you started listening to me," paige boasted. there was no reason to make her head get all big, but she could have it this one time.

"wait so how are you going to convince aunt hazel to let you go hours away to swellview?" none of the three had exactly gotten permission from any parents or aunt hazel, and it wouldn't exactly be easy to either.

"well aunt hazel is going out of town for work from thursday to sunday, so i'm just left alone to watch the house."

"alright, i'm sure willow could cover for us here and to my parents, how about for you paige?"

"my parents always just assume i'm here, so i'm good too."

"this weekend is gonna be so good, i love you guys."

friday

the three had waited a full day after aunt hazel had left to embark on their journey, and lets just say it was a wild one. they couldn't exactly drive to swellview, the missing car in the driveway would be a dead giveaway to the snitch neighbors. so they took a bus.

never again.

the bus got a flat halfway through the trip, paige almost got left behind while switching to the 2nd bus because she was busy flirting with some guy, wyatt and paige got into an argument, milo and paige got into an argument, and some random guy had a really loud chicken.

eventually they did finally make it to swellview, though. now to find that junk store.

note: don't let paige in charge of directions. they'd gone to junk 'n things, things 'n junk, and even stuff 'n junk.

after hours of searching, they finally ended up at...
