every day in the town newsletter the past few weeks, there have been ads for the annual bridge creek 'fairstival', but now the time had finally come around. this year was different from every other year though, the ads for the fairstival had been sent out to numerous states and towns. places like bordertown, neighborville, swellview, hiddenville, and more! although the places were well ways away from bridge creek, it was still a generous gesture to get more people than in previous years.

paige, wyatt, and milo decided to have a booth this year to try and raise money for the town animal shelter by having a milk bottle game.

"i hope this is all worth it for you guys, the sun is going to make me burn," paige complained. maybe they shouldn't have invited her to help out, paige and the outdoors do not mix well.

"well, im going to get more baseballs for the game," wyatt started then turned his focus, "good luck milo." it would be needed. she nodded at him and watched him walk out of her sight.

"i'm going inside before i get sunburned on my face byeee," paige said in a hurry and walked over to the convention center which was only steps away from the booth.

"this is going to be a long day," milo sighed and started setting up the table for the game.

once wyatt had come back, milo was ready to start getting people for the game.

"where's paige? she's been gone a while," the girl worried. was it usual for her friend to randomly disappear at random times? yes, but she thought today would've been different.

"relax, she's probably just flirting with some guy," wyatt insisted trying to calm her. he knew she was prone to freaking out easily and he didn't want a huge meltdown at the booth that was surrounded by other people.

"yeah but usually by now she would've just given him her number and she would come back."

"she'll be back, don't worry."

"you're right, but if you aren't then i'm going to go search for her."

"whatever makes you happy i guess."

as if on cue, she walked right back into the booth.

"paige, where have you been loca?"

"sorry, i was giving some guys my number and i lost track of time.."

"this isn't the place to be looking for a boyfriend."

"you're tellin me! there's like nobody our age here."

"paige, you know not everything in life is about guys right?" wyatt asked her, not realizing how much she cared. she then pretended to faint into milo's arms very dramatically.

"oh my god would you calm down?" milo said pushing her back up to her standing position. "just help us get customers."

"whatever, you guys clearly don't care about my love life, so why should i?"
