The dam is swollen
By all the water that cuts it through
The soil beneath
Turning red
Of all the water its letting to go
Years of wait
Years of patience
Years of tolerance
Has fallen apart
The water is dripping
Off the dam
Taking away the worries
Overpowering the dam
