"that was so much fun!" taehyung laughed, towel around his shoulders as they both walked to jungkook's car after getting changed. they spent majority of time at the swimming park and now it was late afternoon and the raven was about to drop taehyung off home. 

"we have to do that again!" the raven replied back, big smile on his face as he drives out the parking lot. 

if jungkook was being honest, he did not want to drop taehyung off at home. he wanted to spend more time with him. a part of him was feeling a little down, he felt like there was something more he wanted with taehyung. 

the urge to hug him, hold his hand, place his hands around the brunette's waist without having to ask. the urges he gets to peck all over his face, be the one that makes him feel the most safe and at home. 

'I like him' jungkook remembered telling jimin when the male popped around to his house. the whole conversation started with jimin telling him that he has been acting different. 

'not a bad different but a good different' jimin described. it went on from jimin telling jungkook that he has been spending a lot of time with taehyung, and how the girls at school have noticed. 

'your straight? right?' was the question jungkook would rather not have been asked, but he trusts jimin so why would he not sure his personal details. 

'im bi' was his reply, he waited for jimin to be surprised but the male just nodded and said 'thats cool, so about taehyung' 

then that was when jungkook really went into it 'I really like him' the raven had sighed, leaning his back against the marble bench as he stared at the wall. 

'I find myself wanting to have him in my arms, wanting to rub my hands around his waist but not knowing if I can or if he would even want me to'

'I dont even know if he likes guys. he poured his heart out to me the other day about something that is really personal to him and it meant a lot to me that he trusts me enough to tell me something so deep'

'have you ever thought about kissing him?' jimin asked, silence filled the room at the most awkward question jungkook has been asked. even though he knew the answer, it was more about sharing that to someone. 

'every time I am with him' jungkook whispered, counting all the times his eyes went from the males eyes to his lips whenever the brunette spoke. 

'could you see yourself being intimate with him?' jimin asked, referring back to all the questions jungkook asked him when he was discovering his sexuality. 

jungkook thought back to when he was cuddling taehyung at night, the male had his back against his chest. he had his arms wrapped around the males waist, taehyung was fast asleep and seemed in a deep one as the raven was wide awake and gasped as soon as he felt taehyung's ass rubbing against his crotch.

and that now leads jungkook to the situation he is in now. after dropping taehyung off he pulled out the drive way, stopping at the end of it when he remembered about the party tomorrow night. he cursed and realised he completely forgot to ask taehyung to be his plus one and forgot the party was even tomorrow. 

he has not planned anything. all he had figured out was that he wanted taehyung to be his plus one. he did not want to just ask taehyung to be his plus one without bringing a gift so he quickly made his way to the mall, dialling jimin's phone number while he walked inside the mall after parking. 

"I have no idea what to get taehyung to ask him to be my plus one at the party tomorrow, I need suggestions" jimin could not help but to 'aw' at jungkook's cute behaviour. 

"that is so adorable that your wanting to get him something, I dont know a whole lot about the things taehyung likes but there is nothing wrong with a basket of favourites. got to go, good luck" 

jungkook sighed as he turned his phone off, he thought back to what jimin said as he pondered around the shops. his eyes landed on a decent sized basket and saw a bookstore right next to it. he smiled as he got the best idea and bought the basket before heading towards the large bookstore. 

after looking around for half an hour for books he bought 8 different books that he feels like taehyung would like, from what he saw on the males bookshelf he seemed to like romance books. he got a few things of lollies and flowers and placed it in the basket. 

he grabbed a card as well before checking out and going back to his car. when he pulled into taehyung's driveway, he sat in the car for a little. he tried to figure out what he wanted to write into the note. 

after finally coming up with some words he placed the card by the flowers in the basket and drove down taehyung's driveway, after parking his car he let out a deep breath and got out the car. he walked to the front door and knocked on it, when he heard footsteps reach the door he felt nervous. 

hes been to plus one parties before but he has never asked someone out like this before, and he has no idea how taehyung will feel about it. when the door opened and he was met with taehyung's confused face he could not help but to let out a nervous chuckle. 

"hey kook? what are you doing here?" the brunette asked, looking at what was in jungkook's hands then back at the raven's eyes. 

"so, there is a party tomorrow night and its a plus one party and I wanted to know if you want to be my plus one to it?" jungkook asked, waiting to see taehyung's reaction. 

to say the brunette was shocked would be an understatement. 

"a-as in a date?" taehyung stuttered, jungkook wanted to say no cause if he was going to take taehyung out on a date it would just be the two of them, spending time together and doing something romantic. 

"uhm, a little. maybe as a pre-date. taking you on a date would be more special then this, I just would not want to go to the party with anyone else" jungkook softly said, watching as taehyung's cheeks went a rosy pink. 

"I would love to be your plus one" taehyung smiled, feeling quite special that jungkook only wanted to go with him. 

"I got this for you" jungkook soon said, handing the brunette the basket. 

"oh my gosh you got so many books, aw I always wanted to read these books. thank you so much kook" taehyung whispered, softly placing the basket on the floor before stepping towards jungkook and giving him a hug. 

the raven smiled and wrapped his arms around taehyung's waist. 

"your very welcome" he whispered, not wanting to let go and taehyung did not want to either.
