Bad Boy Meets Surfer

"here babe" jungkook said, placing the blanket over him. smiling when his eyes landed on his boyfriends fluffy pink socks. it was freezing today, they woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold. 

they put the heaters on, made sure hyeon was alright before going back to bed. they now had everyone in the lounge, wrapped in blankets and fluffy socks. the fire place was on as they waited for the news to come on. 

jungkook went into the kitchen and grabbed a warm hot chocolate for taehyung. 

"thanks kook" taehyung said as soon as he was handed the warm drink. after he sat down, he placed a hand on taehyung's thigh, under the blanket. the brunette linked his fingers with the ravens. 

"arent you just so cute" jimin's high pitched voice filled the room. they all turned their attention towards jimin who had hyeon in his arms. taehyung softly smiled, loving seeing his friends with hyeon. 

when the news came on everyone went silent, they all listened closer to the tv. taehyung definitely felt nervous, he was anxious. he spent all morning scrolling through his phone, seeing if there was any updates from the siren. 

"oh here we go" jin said, as soon as they got onto the topic. 

"we have fantastic news this morning on the whitianga school shooting. the suspect was captured yesterday night. he was cornered in a forrest cabin where police had surrounded the building for over twelves hours, the police were able to arrest the man without any injuries or casualties"

"there was a search conducted on his home three pm yesterday that lead to his whereabouts, it was not the only thing authorities found as they located a murder weapon used on 27 murders over the past year. he was in fact the serial killer that police have been searching for."

"as much as this all is good news that he has been caught and will be going to prison for the rest of his life. we have lost a lot of people this year, this past month. there will be a ceremony at the beach tonight in memory of all the beautiful people we have lost." 

"if you do attend, please wear white and bring flowers and candles to remember these good people who lost their lives" 

after a few more bits of information, the news was now onto the ads. 

everyone felt relieved that the guy was caught, taehyung definitely felt like he could breath more. no more hiding. 

"myeong finally has justice" taehyung whispered, feeling many emotions all at once.

"we should get ready to pay our respects" taehyung said, looking around to see them all nodding as they all stood up. they spent the next couple hours getting ready and packing up, cleaning the house. they were all able to go back home so the others decided they will go back to their own houses after the beach. 

the sun was setting by the time they pulled into the carpark of the beach. they were all squished into one car, two people sitting in the boot. they made a pit stop at a flower shop to get white flowers, there were only just enough left. they all walked across the sand, hyeon in taehyung's arms while one arm was around jungkook's. 

they all headed towards the crowd of people by the ocean, everyone was in white holding candles, flowers and picture frames. they waited around for a little, until people said a few words. a lot of people shedding tears, some staring off into the ocean and others were holding onto the people close to them. 

once the speeches were done, everyone places their flowers against the ocean waves. taehyung looked up to the red, orange and yellow sky. it was beautiful. after walking away from the water he looked at jungkook when he saw him on the phone. 

once he hung up he walked towards the raven, wondering who was on the phone. 

"it was my mum, your family is all currently at there place with your mum and rose. they are having a bbq tonight and want us to come and bring our friends" the raven said to taehyung who was surprised to hear his dad, siblings and dogs were here. 

taehyung smiled, and nodded. "I think it would be nice to have a family bbq" the brunette replied, his eyes casted on hyeon who had shivers going down his arm. 

"take him back to the car, I will gather the others" jungkook said, heading towards their friends who were talking with a few people. the brunette did not need to be told twice and headed towards the car, buckling hyeon into his car capsule. 

he got into the car afterwards and shut the door, it was cold and they knew they could not stay for long but definitely wanted to pay their respects to all those lives lost.
