"tae I have the table outside all set up, luckily it is a beautiful day. winter is on its way" jungkook said, placing the bowl of salad on the table. 

"so true. where did this table come from, it is very steady?" taehyung asked, helping the raven to bring out more food. 

"it is a little heavy but this table is the best table for a bbq" jungkook replied, putting down the drinks. 

"have you told your parents? about hyeon?" taehyung asked, leaning his head on jungkook's shoulder who wrapped his arm around his waist. 

"yeah I did, they cant be on the first plane back but they will be here tomorrow. my parents will get to meet your mum" the raven mentioned, pecking the side of taehyung's head. 

"I feel so nervous about it all" taehyung sighed, placing a hand on his stomach. the raven smiled and turned around slowly as he faced his boyfriend. 

"I know tae, that is understandable to feel this way. your mum loves you, it may take her time to warm up to all of this but she will eventually ease into it" jungkook said, trying his best to comfort his boyfriend who did seem to relax a little afterwards. 

when they both heard the door bell ring, they both let out a nervous sigh. soon chuckling afterwards as they went towards the door. at this point, jungkook was feeling very nervous but could hide it a lot better then what taehyung could. 

there was so much to be nervous for. meeting taehyungs mother, trying to prove himself, let alone his mother finding out taehyung is raising a baby at his age. it would be a lot to unpack. the raven watched as taehyung's hand gripped the door handle and pulled it towards them. 

"oh my baby!" jungkook heard before he watched a women pull taehyung into a tight hug. 

"I missed you mum" he heard taehyung whisper, soon pulling away from the hug when he went to greet rose. 

"and you must be jungkook" taehyung's mother said, shaking his hand. 

"it is lovely to meet you mrs kim" the raven bowed while shaking her hand. 

"nonsense, just call me mamma" she smiled, walking inside as rose followed behind her. 

"now where is this hyeon?" she asked, taehyung nervously played with the hem of his shirt as he led them out the back. 

"he is currently asleep, we had a rough night with him light and this morning so I want him to be able to sleep a little longer" taehyung replied. 

"I will get him after we all have something to eat" taehyung commented, them all sitting at the table outside. 

"this looks amazing boys, I am starving" rose said, already digging into the food. 

"rose briefly informed me on everything that has happened since you have been here, this was not what I was wanting for you tae" his mother said softly, taehyung felt his heart sink a little. he knew she was not going to be overly happy for him, he knew she was going to be worried and concerned. 

it still hurt. 

"I know mum, I know it is not want you wanted for me. after loosing nan I felt like my whole world just flipped upside down, I felt my whole heart rip into two pieces. I might of not showed it much but I really struggle without her and grandpa here"

"meeting jungkook, it gave me purpose again. I feel happy when I am with him. it was not our plan to adopt a new born. I could not give the baby up for adoption and not spend majority of my life worried about where he ended up"

"jungkook and I, can give hyeon a good life. he deserves to have people in his life that care, love him and want him to feel safe. jungkook and I have discussed and planned a lot, he currently works and this rent for this house is low because his parents own it." 

"we graduate college this week, so I will stay at home for awhile until jungkook and I feel comfortable putting hyeon into daycare or kindergarten. jungkook is working his last few weeks at the cafe before he goes into full-time work doing something he loves" taehyung explained, wanting to prove to his mum that he has really thought about this. 

"so your just going to move here then, so you are not coming back home? that was the whole plan tae. you come here for a break to finish college and then you come back" taehyung's mother said, jungkook froze a little in his chair. he completely forgot about that, he knew taehyung was going back but it completely slipped his mind. 

taehyung wanted to dig himself into a hole, he was hoping his mother would not bring that up. he honestly loves his here, as much as he loves where his parents moved to... at the moment it still hurts. 

but he knows if he says it, it would upset his mother. they are grieving as well, it would be hard for them to be there as well without nan and grandpa but taehyung was just trying to do what is best for him. 

he thinks the island of aroha is the perfect place to raise hyeon. lots of nature and friendly people. "I want to stay here mum, I know this was not permanent but I found my own path here. I feel guilty about it cause I dont want to be far from you or the others. I dont know mum, im sorry" taehyung whispered, starting to feel really overwhelmed. 

jungkook watched as taehyung's mother smiled and placed her hand on top of his. 

"I wont lie and say that I am not disappointed cause all I want is to be near you and know your okay but I can see how much you like it here. I am not here to put you down or make you feel worse I just wanted to get the whole story and meet his boyfriend of yours and hyeon"

"I am proud of you son" she smiled, squeezing his hand.
