Bad Boy Meets Surfer

the sun had set and their was no stars in the sky, taehyung frowned went the wind started to get stronger and he felt rain drops hit is arm. he turned to jungkook who also looked really confused. the brunette jumped when a loud siren went off, his anxiety shot through the roof when jungkook cursed and got up quickly. pulling taehyung along with him. 

"what is happening?" taehyung asked, as jungkook grabbed his hand and they both started running back towards the car. the brunette watched as the last couple of people on the beach were also doing the same thing. 

"it's a storm warning, whenever that goes off everyone had to get back to their house." jungkook said as soon as they both got into the car. rain started pouring down, hitting the windshield hard. the brunette was not a huge fan of storms, he was okay with rain but not heavy rain. 

the raven cursed as he quickly revered the car, he drove fast back on the road. 

"does this happen often?" taehyung questioned, but jungkook shook his head. 

"no, the last big storm we had was five years ago and it killed 32 people" the raven explained, driving a little over the speed limit. trying to get home as quick as he can. as soon as they made it back to jungkook's place, they both got out the car. 

jungkook cursed when they both got inside cause they were soaked. the rain was pouring down so hard that it looked like they had stood in the rain for hours. the raven quickly grabbed his phone when it started ringing. taehyung decided to head up to jungkook's room to get changed and dried off. 

giving jungkook privacy to answer the call. 

after getting changed he grabbed his phone that he placed on jungkook's bed, he noticed he missed a call from rose and called her back. 

"hey tae, I am sorry I am not with you. I know this might be pretty scary for you, are you okay?" she softly asked, as soon as taehyung picked up the call. 

"hi, yeah I am okay. I just feel like my anxiety is all over the place. we were at the beach when the siren went off and we rushed back to jungkook's place" taehyung replied. 

"okay, just make sure you watch the news and keep up with it. I will be stuck at my bestfriends house until the storm stops. text me if you need anything okay" she said, taehyung thanked her before heading downstairs. 

he walked to the lounge and turned the tv on, flinching a little when a boom of thunder shot through the sky. 

jungkook soon came back and sat on the couch beside him. 

"everything okay?" taehyung asked, looking at the male who nodded. 

"yeah, it was just my parents. they are currently in seoul and heard the news of the storm. they called worried but I told them that I have you over and that I will call them if needed" the raven replied, looking at taehyung who nodded his head. 

they both turned their attention to the tv that was showing the news, a lot of videos of the storm came on the screen. strong winds, the heavy rain, thunder and lightning, the empty streets and flooding. 

"you can go freshen up if you want, your still wet" taehyung replied, looking at jungkook who got up and nodded. 

"I will be back" he said softly before rushing up the stairs to have a shower. 

taehyung sat on the couch, watching the news at all the destruction that was being made. he had never been involved in a storm like this. he blinked as soon as lightning his the sky, a boom blasted loudly and taehyung swore it hit the side of the house. 

he could not believe how loud it was. after a few minutes he walked towards the window, watching as the rain hit the ground. he had never seen so much rain and wind before. taehyung flinched when there was a loud boom and soon all the brunette saw was darkness. 

"jungkook" he whispered, looking around but he could not see anything. it was so dark and there was no light. taehyung felt his throat close up as his anxiety shot through his body. 

"jungkook!" taehyung cried, trying to find a wall to touch but he did not know where anything was. worried he would bump into something and knock it over. "taehyung!" he heard a shout and footsteps coming down the stairs. 

when the power went out jungkook was just putting his clothes on after having a shower, and when he slipped on his shirt all the lights in the room turned off. he slid on his pants as he stepped out the room, he rushed downstairs when he heard taehyung's voice call out for him. 

"taehyung?!" he yelled out, trying to move closer to his voice as he could not see anything. it looked like the all the power had gone out. 

"g-gukkie?" taehyung sobbed, jungkook's heart broke hearing taehyung cry. he tried to push past the cute nickname as he moved forward. as soon as he felt his hand brush taehyung's arm, he gripped it and pulled the male towards his chest. 

taehyung sighed in relief as rested his head against jungkook's chest, holding onto him tight as the raven wrapped his hands around his waist. "I got you" the taller whispered, loving the feeling of taehyung in his arms, just did not like how he was so scared. 

"have you ever experienced a power cut?" jungkook asked but the sniffling male shook his head against his chest. 

"okay, I have some candles in my room. lets both sleep there for tonight, I dont think we will be getting the power back on tonight." taehyung had no thoughts against it as jungkook grabbed his hand and lead him upstairs. when they entered jungkook's room, he helped the brunette sit down on the bed. 

the raven knew his way around his room even in the dark, he knew where everything was. he pulled out a draw and grabbed one of his lighters, grabbing the candle to light it. he lit up two and carried them to the bedside table. 

he placed one on either side and taehyung felt like he could breath again after being able to see. 

"are you sure your okay with me sleeping here?" taehyung asked, watching as jungkook pulled down the covers and patted beside him. 

"I am completely okay with it as long as you are" the raven replied, smiling when taehyung got under the covers next to him. 

as they both went to lay down and silence filled the room jungkook turned to face taehyung who was looking at the wall behind him. as if he was day dreaming. 

"I know you may feel safer with the candles on but it is dangerous to have them on all night, so I will have to blow it out but I will wait till your asleep" jungkook whispered, watching as their eyes met and taehyung smiled softly and nodded. 

jungkook watched as taehyung covered himself more with the many blankets on the bed and closed his eyes. the raven felt like he was being creepy but for the next twenty minutes he found himself watching taehyung fall asleep. 

"why are you so beautiful" jungkook whispered softly, soon leaning over to blow both candles out.
