"Come on you losers!!! We fucking start in an hour!" Heather yelled through the bus. I was staring at myself in the mirror in nothing but my pink bra and pink underwear, deciding on what I should wear for our first show. I had my makeup and hair done my classic straight black hair and eyeliner.I examined my body and looking at all my flaws. I wish I looked like the girls who came to our show, blonde, toned and perfect. I mean to anyone but myself they would want to be me, I had a small waist and as all the men on the tour have been reminding me a 'nice ass' but it was my thighs, my chest, legs and arms that I constantly insulted myself on. My insecurities. On which all of my ex boyfriends constantly reminded me of. I wanted to cover every inch of those parts of my body in tattoos, maybe one day.
I snapped myself out of my thoughts as Heather opened the door. "Thanks for knocking!" I laughed trying to cover myself. "Pssh nothing I haven't seen before" she closed the door behind her. She looked at me. "I know you Vic, stop thinking that shit about yourself your fucking perfect okay?" She came up to me and engulfed me in her arms. "Those assholes have nothing on you" she placed her hand on my face. "I mean Johnny and Eric both broke up with me because they didn't like the way I looked, it's gotta mean something right?" I asked her tearing up.
"No, no it doesn't. Because they are weak-minded pussy's who aren't real men. You are beautiful and should never let anyone define you" she wiped the tear that fell from my eye. "I love you Heather" I hugged her. "Your my bestest friend in the whole world, i love you so much!" She smiled cheerfully. I was so lucky to have a best friend like her. "Come on bitch, let's go rock this place!" She clapped and giggled.
Heather left the room and I chose my outfit. I decided to go slightly out of my usual outfits which consisted of leather pants, a singlet and a jacket. I decided it was time to spice it up. I put on high waisted dark denim flares with a huge red belt, matched with a white and pink fringe halter top. And of course pairing it with my signature jacket.
"Ready to go?" I walked out to the band all waiting at the front of the bus. "Took you long enough" Ziggy laughed and playfully rolled his eyes. "Come on!" Harry was beyond excited.
"You ready little bro?" I hung my arm around his shoulder. "Fuck yea" he hugged me.
We didn't see any of the bands before we started, we guessed they were in their dressing rooms.
We played one hell of an opening act, we only got around 15 minutes while the other bands got 45 minutes each. The crowd was going insane for us, it was so hypnotic. I noticed a group of boys holding up a sign saying "VM PLEASE MARRY ME" which made me giggle so I blew them a kiss and they went crazy.
"That was such a rush!" Landon jumped up and down as we came off of stage. "Fuck yea it was" Ziggy high fived us all. "We really do rock guys" Harry added as we walking into the viewing lounge to get ready to watch all of the other bands perform. It was metallica next, motley after and then they finished with Aerosmith.
We sat down and got some drinks handed too us. We watched motley and aerosmith walk in. "One hell of a show my guys!" Tommy smiled at us all. "I'm pretty impressed." Brad added as he high fived us all. "Dude the technique you guys used on the end song my man, it was legendary" Joe sat next to the boys. "Your talented sweetheart" Vince mingled his way too Heather. Everyone was getting recognition besides me, I mean it was selfish to think like that but it was just solidifying the thoughts I had early today.
"Hi Gorgeous" Steven came up to me as I stood a bit parted from the rest of the group. "Hi Tyler" i forced a smile. "From one lead singer to another, you sounded incredible, you blew me away" Steven smiled as he grabbed my hand and kissed it. "You have no idea how good it is too hear that" This time I genuinely smiled. "Thank you" I looked him in his eyes. "Of course" he nodded.
