Things had always been going wrong but today was especially provoking. Maybe she was closer to her monthly cycle or maybe it was pent-up frustration that had somehow leaked out of the bag and into her emotions. Either way, the result didn't serve a very different purpose. A part of why the clouds were darker over her head was the hustle that this day brought.

After about three hours clustered together, Jangmi had been packing up all of her items and boxing them perfectly into the tempo parked outside the Kang House's gate. Over the few months that she had spent here, unknowingly, she had collected so many things that the realization only hit her once she began packing it all up. From books and magazines to clothing that were exceptionally fancy for some reason. The additional baggage hadn't eliminated any of the previous load that she had carried here. All of the things that were probably of no use to her in this house were always to be hers even if she couldn't use them anymore.

Hyunjoon was kind enough to deal with the expenses of shifting when Jangmi suggested that she could move on her. The movers didn't seem to be here on their own accord. The packing had consumed so much of her time that by the time she had settled it all up in the tempo truck, it was already close to a bitterly wintry noon.

She had considered calling Kobin to give a hand, however, calling him over would just be blatantly accepting that she was using him. After being out of contact for so long, she didn't want to seem like she anything but genuine with him. Besides, she had Jungkook at her disposal to aggravate her nerves. If Kobin found him here, there would be questions that she didn't want to answer. Even after the quarrel last night, Jungkook was still choosing to keep her under a watch. Maybe that was the root cause of her sullen mood. Even though he was keeping a watch, he didn't as much as offer her to keep any of the boxes up which was fine because it was better that way.

"You're forgetting this." She heard a shuffle behind her and spun around, hoping to find another large box that was too heavy to lift but instead a trophy of yellow lilies in a too-large bouquet stared back at her. Jangmi was slightly relieved as she took the flowers from him and worriedly looked at the boxes piled in the truck. There was no space to hold these. They would probably get squished if she stuffed them up.

Whirling around to look at Hyunjoon she raised her eyebrows, "Can't I keep them here?"

"That's pretty insulting to Mr Choi, is it not?"

"It's not like I'm throwing them away," Jangmi mumbled and placed one hand on her hip, peering at the jam-packed truck. It was pretty small in the first place. The lilies deserved better than this scuffle.

As gratitude for looking after his son at the convenience store, Mr Choi had transported some fresh lilies to her this morning at Hyunjoon's address and the more she tried to think about it, the creepier it seemed. How did he even find out that she stayed at the Kang House? To corrupt her tiny jovial moment, she had been reminded of that one time she found black roses at her door, and god if that wasn't the worst of deja vus of this century because one by one she couldn't help but remember it all, like stained glass windows in her head.

Jangmi walked up to the front of the tempo where the driver of the vehicle stayed with his eyes shut.

She knocked at the glass, causing him to wake up as though from a nightmare.

"H-Hi. I was hoping you could keep this in the front?" She held up the bouquet to show him and the man who looked visibly startled collected himself and took those flowers, getting jostled by them as he put them down in the front seat. "Thank you."

She huffed out loudly, happy that the struggle had at the very least built enough heat within her to suppress this cold.

"You were a wonderful tenant," Hyunjoon said approaching her for a handshake. Jangmi accepted it and nodded back.
