Taehyung cleared his throat for the umpteenth time, securing a seat for himself controlateral to the woman sitting defiantly before him. He wished he didn't remember what had happened a few hours ago but the scent of shame clung to his brain like clothing hanging to a wardrobe. She was still as a stone, glancing at every change in his movements somehow making him realise that he was susceptible to another shameful tumble across the office room. If she didn't formulate words to kill this awkwardness, he would have too. The tensiveness was too much.

"What happened?" She asked gingerly. The concern in her eyes was evident and even so a hint of suspicion fused with it. It was as though she couldn't decide what she wanted to believe.

Taehyung noticed her fingers tightened around her knees and sighed. Still so nervous.

"I.." he paused just to make sure she was intently listening and almost chuckled. "..have a condition."

Jangmi gulped, eyes forming into two pools of mahogany as the words found footing on her tongue, "What condition...?"

Taehyung could see the sheer inquisition in her face. She wanted to know and yet there this girl, resisted the urge to look like she actually needed that information. Her aura was bleached by the edge and to the normal eye, it wouldn't even be noticeable. Even so, after seeing her so closely all this time, it would be a shame if he didn't recognise this alteration. Taehyung lifted his foot and put them up on the table sitting between them.

The color on her face returned to calm again.

"Of detecting unwanted errands from miles away." He smirked and that was the end of it. The fall of emotion was oblivious on her face and if it hadn't been for the tarrying embarrassment, Taehyung would have laughed at her.

"Makes me want to puke." He added, just to spice the setting even more.

Jangmi blinked away, purely shamed by the insult. He could see the blooming discomfort on her face and the circles running in her head. She was probably struggling to come up with a reaction and in turn making herself look weird.

"Well," she paused and cleared her throat. "I want my apartment back and Yujin's too."

"You what?" He frowned. "Care to explain?"

What?

"I know you've done this."

"Done what? Jangmi, I would really appreciate if you chose to speak in perceptible words. I don't speak gibberish for a language." His eyebrow lifted and Jangmi could swear she could hear her own blood boil and condense through her eyelids. If he retained this sort of tone, she wouldn't be far away from tears.

The amount of words this man had just to pull her down was amazing. It scared her often times. She had accustomed herself to all the little variations and those little things that were so insignificant at first. Now even the slight tilt of his head and the pallor in his eyes ripped her heart apart. For a fact, she was certain that this feeling was by no means one budding from hatred.

"Yujin had to move back to his parents because of this. I need you to give him that back. Please don't.." her mind gurgled, wondering if she could use this word with him. "...be so petty."

"And how have you concluded that it was me who did it?"

His question cleared all the maps in her head. Suddenly she didn't have any words at her disposal to defend this.

This deja vu. It made her want to curl herself up into a ball and cry. They were right where they were once and yet the emotions lingering around were entirely different. She wondered if it was different at all for him, or if he had a change in his emotions at all. Maybe he never felt it like the way she did.
