You laughed and closed your phone, before standing up and walking over to your closet.
What to wear?
You ran your fingers across the clothes you had hanging, stopping at the dress you had worn last night- when you almost DIED.
Hopefully you'd never see those drunkards again.
You got out of the pajamas you had been wearing the whole morning and changed into black flared jeans and a pastel blue jumper.
"Hey Dad." you smiled when you walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning," he said good-naturedly.
"I'm going to hang out at Mina's." you lied, crossing your fingers behind your back.
"Oh, okay." your dad nodded, "Text me when you get there."
"Thanks." you grinned, and turned to go to the front door.
"Not so fast." Kai said suspiciously, stepping out of his room and blocking the door.
"Get lost." you rolled your eyes.
"I know where you're going." he smirked.
"No you don't. Now get lost." you said irritably, trying to shove him out of the way.
"You're going to see your boyfriend."
"What?" your eyes widened, "How- how do you- who told- when did you- what?"
"I have a reliable source." Kai said coolly, "And I know that you've been hiding it from Mum and Dad. So, let's make a compromise."
You sighed, "What do you want?"
"I want to go with you."
"No way." you shook your head.
"DAD!" Kai yelled.
"NO! No! You can go- you can go alright?" you said panickedly.
"What is it?" your dad called.
"I'm going to Mina's with Y/N." Kai replied, making you roll your eyes at him.
"Why do you even want to come!?" you huffed as the two of you walked along the sidewalk.
"Because, Y/N," Kai said matter-of-factly, "I heard there's a pretty girl living at your boyfriend's house who happens to be the same age as me."
Your jaw dropped.
"You're gonna leave Eri alone."
"No can do," Kai smirked, "I've been practicing my rizz all week."
"You're not rizzing Eri up." you groaned.
He grinned mischievously.
"Just you wait."
"Hey-" Shinso stopped, "Oh, hi Kai?"
"He blackmailed me." you explained, punching your brother's arm.
Shinso snorted, "Come on, Eri's in the living room."
Kai grinned.
"Y/N!" Eri jumped when you walked into the room.
She ran over and hugged you, which was the cutest thing ever.
"Look at my drawing!" she said excitedly, picking up a piece of paper from the table and shoving it in your face.
"Woah, hold on." you laughed.
You took the paper and saw that it was a drawing of yourself. And although it wasn't exactly your skin tone, you grinned appreciatevley.
"Thank you!" you mused, "I'll treasure it forever."
Eri beamed proudly.
"Hello Eri." Kai said smugly, stepping out from behind you and holding out his hand.
Eri raised her eyebrows in confusion.
"Who?" she asked.
"Who is this, you mean." Shinso corrected.
"Huh?"
"Her Japanese is pretty much fluent now, but sometimes she forgets how to say things." Shinso explained.
"Who is this?" said Eri.
"This is my brother, Kai." you sighed.
"Is your name Google? Because you have everything I've been searching for." said Kai, giving her his best smirk.
You and Shinso burst out laughing.
Eri looked confused.
But Kai kept going.
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together."
"Are you not embarrassed?" you laughed.
"She's just too stunned to speak, that's all." Kai shrugged, "I have impeccable rizz."
"Rizz?" Eri frowned.
"It means the ability to pull girls." Kai explained, "So, do you wanna go out with me?"
"Out?"
"Yeah, like a date." the blue-haired boy grinned.
"Date..." Eri repeated softly, blushing lightly.
You and Shinso watched in amusement as Kai took Eri's hand and led her out of the living room and into the kitchen.
"They're like me and you, but smaller." Shinso laughed.
"Next thing you know Kai's gonna be forcing her to look at him when he uses his awful pick-up lines." you rolled your eyes teasingly.
"What? I don't force you to- nevermind." he shrugged in realization, "That's different though. I'm older. And hotter. Kai is well on his way to becoming a player and I'll help him out as long as it doesn't involve my sister."
"Then why did you just allow that to happen?" you raised an eyebrow.
"Because they're only nine. The most they could do is hug."
