"Yo Shinso, can I try on your mask?" Denki asked hopefully.

"No."

"Can I  try on your mask?" asked Sero.

"No."

"Can I  try on your mask?" joined Mina.

"No."

"Can I  try on your mask?" you asked, emphasizing the 'I'.

"They're called Persona Chords." Shinso said with his usual 'i give zero fucks' expression.

"Same difference." Denki shrugged.

"Please!" you dragged.

"Give me one good reason why I should let you try it on." Shinso said challengingly, scratching the back of his neck.

"Because I'm your best friend," you replied, saying the first thing that came to your head.

"Oh yeah? Who said?" the purple-haired boy smirked, raising an eyebrow.

"Me," you answered sarcastically.

"I thought I was your best friend!" Mina gasped dramatically, falling into Denki's arms.

Denki blushed as he stumbled, trying not to let the pink girl fall to the floor.

"Love is in the air." Sero sang.

"Go away." Denki rolled his eyes.

"Okay okay." you sighed, "Can I try on your persona chords?"

"Hmm..." Shinso hummed thoughtfully, "No."

"You're really gonna be like that?" you asked.

"Yep." the sleep-deprived boy shrugged.

"Guys, he's gonna be like that," you told Denki, Mina, and Sero.

"Damn."

"Wow." 

"Can't believe you." 

"It's not on." you shook your head at Shinso.

"You guys are weird." the purple-haired boy said tiredly.

"Everyone gather round!" said All Might, who was teaching your Hero Training lesson for today, "We're going to do a simple Villains VS Heros exercise for this class! As usual, we're going to draw lots to decide the teams!"

"I hope we're on the same team!" Mina grinned, crossing both her fingers.

"Same!" you replied excitedly.

"Team A: Kaminari and Ashido!" All Might announced.

"Alright!" Denki grinned, doing a thumbs-up.

"Bye bestie!" Mina pouted, reaching out her hands dramatically as Denki pulled her away.

"Team B: Sero and Todoroki!"

"Have fun Hanta." you winked.

"Shut up." Sero rolled his eyes.

"Team C: Midoriya and Bakugo! Team D: Asui and Ojiro! Team E: Ururaka and Iida! Team F: L/N and Shinso! Team G: Kirishima and Tokoyami! Team H: Momo and Jirou! Team I: Hagakure and Shoji! Team J: Koda and Sato!"

"Looks like we're on the same team!" you grinned.

"Unfortunately." Shinso sighed.

"Rude." you said sarcastically.

"Alright everyone!" All Might called, "The first match will be Team B VS Team F!"

"You guys are dead." Sero mouthed.
