Chapter 4 (lonely)

♦️Julius was long gone by the time I got back to the church. I missed him a lot for some reason, it felt strange. It felt like I was missing a part of me without him near... I wanted to see him again that's for sure, but he's probably at home by now, I feel so alone. I guess that's what it feels like when you leave your first friend...

I got home before dark, going to my room, feeling tired and bored, without someone talking to me, or bother me, like Julius had...ugh. It feels like I'm gonna fall over! Jesus I feel like an idiot...

I walked up the stairs to my room where my mom had bin waiting for me.

💖"Hi sweetie! How was your day with Julius?
Hope he had a good day out!

"It was fine...I really enjoyed it with him, getting to shop all day long..."

💖"You went shopping, that must've bin a lot of fun!-"
He seems upset now that I take a closer look at his expression.
"Are you alright Selever? You keep pausing when you speak..."

♦️"I'm fine mom, I'm just really tired."

💖"Well okay then, if you say so honey, come down and get some dinner before bed, it will be ready shortly!"
If he says he's okay, he is, maybe I'm just over analyzing him...

♦️"Okay mom, I'll be down in a bit."

💖I nod with a smile, and head back downstairs to the kitchen to start dinner.

♦️I close my door, walk over to my bed, and flop onto it feeling sad and alone. I hear someone open my door, but I don't turn my body to look who it is. I just close my eyes, and sigh, not bothering to acknowledge them.

♦️Selever + Rasazy💙

💙I see my older brother on his bed when I open the door, wanting to see how his day went with his new friend. Although half of him is on the bed, and the other off of it, it's pretty clear he's feeling upset. I'm starting to wonder if he's going to be alright, it might be that Julius guy, he has had to have done something to him. Brother doesn't get upset easily by simple things like this, so it might be the case.

I close the door behind me, walk up to him, and pull at his sweater gently to get his attention.

"Brother? Are you alright? Why are you dangling off of your bed like this? Did your friend do something to you? Don't worry, I'll sure to protect you!"

♦️I turn towards Rasazy, feeling shocked she was the one who had came in, and she really just said that-
"RASAZY! OH UMM-yeah! I'm alright, I'm just tired, that's why I was hanging off my bed. And no, Julius did not do anything to upset me, so you don't have to worry, or protect me, okay?"

I say to her reassuringly with a big smile now plastered onto my face. I feel a bit better now that she's here with me. It makes me feel less lonely and more companied.

💙He's pretending...he's pretending to be very happy to see me, to hide the fact that the Julius made him upset! He's done this before!
"Don't worry...you don't have to worry, you don't have to pretend to be happy, I will always make sure to help you if you feel upset! I'll go tell mom and dad about how horrible that weirdo has treated you!"

I run out the door downstairs before he could say another word.

Don't worry brother! I'll make sure you stay happy...like you did for me...keeping me happy while I was upset... when I thought we would never be able to come home to Mama and Papa...but kept my spirts up until then. I need to be able to do the same thing for you! In this case it's very unusual to see him sad...it's very rare to make him sad even, so this is not normal in any way at all! I need to be able to resolve this as quick as possible!
