Together till the end ~ a rini story

Chapter 2

"Neens, you ready to go?"

"Yep." She replied popping the 'p.' Today they were graduating from East High. To this year, they have known each other for 13 years. They had their red cap and gowns on and they were hugging.
"I can't believe that we did it."

"Yeah. It feels like we met yesterday but it was 13 years ago." the parents walked in (emotionally) and walked over and hugged their now adult grads.

"Aww, sweetie! We are going to miss you so much!"

"My little boy is all grown up!"

"Don't leave us! I don't think we will survive one day!" The two teens just looked at each other and burst out into laughter at their parents. They eventually made it to the car and when they got there they had to get separated into groups A and B. Ricky went in A and Nini went in B.

Soon, the announcer started making the graduations official.

"First up, we have Richard Bowen!"

Nini practically lost her crap. She started screaming and people were looking at her but she did not care. That was her best friend about to graduate.

"Richard is graduating from USC with his best friend Nina and is pursuing the arts. He was a wonderful student and he was always caring and tried his hardest in class. We are wishing you many more successful times and thank you for being a student at East High!" everyone clapped and Nini was yelling and screaming and jumping because that's just nine being nini. Once they got through all the A's, it was Nini's turn to go graduate.

"And starting off group B we have Nina Salzer-Roberts!" Just like nini, Ricky also lost it. he even shouted 'that's my girl' which had heads turning. "Nina was an honor roll student and she put a lot of pride and effort into her work. She is graduating from USC and taking music classes such as acting, singing, and songwriting. We wish you luck and thank you for being a student here at East!" Everyone cheered and as soon as she got off, she ran into rick's arms.

"I can't even believe we did it, Ricky!"

"I know! I love you so much." He told her (in a friendly matter)
"I love you too. I don't even know what I would do without you." They drove home and later that night, they attended their graduation party with friends and family. Ricky eventually got up with a microphone and made a speech.

"Excuse me, everybody? I just have something to say. These past 12 years have been the greatest because I got to spend them all with a special girl named Nina Salzer-Roberts. She has been with me through thick and thin and I never want to give her up. I don't want to let go or lose her. She's my home." both nini and Ricky had tears streaming down their faces. "And if she's not with me and she's with one of you, all I ask is that you take care of her for me okay?" everyone nodded and once he got off he felt two small arms around his waist.

"I'll never leave you, dork"

"You better not."

"Ay! That's a threat!"

"I know... Love ya too." they just stared into each other's eyes like they were the only people in the world and nothing else mattered. They both started to lean in but before they could close the gap, Gina pulled nini away.

"Gurl your with him too much! come to have fun!" She dragged nini over to the drink area and snuck a beer and nini saw and pulled out her monthly instincts and yelled at her.

"Girl it's just one! Calm down!" nini just rolled her eyes as she watched gina drink it. "Sooooo what were you and Ricky chatting about."

'Just how far we have come."

"yeah let me believe that."

"We did!" nini fought.

"We all know you like him! gosh what else are you keeping from us?" Nini spit her drink out onto the ground and that made Ricky look over and start laughing at her. he walked over to where the girls were standing and continued laughing.

"What were you guys talking about? Boys?" Nini's face turned crimson red because well they were talking about boys. that one is right in front of their eyes. "oh my gosh! you were talking about boys! Which one?"

"You know I think I'm gonna use the bathroom." She set her to drink down and walked into the house.

"Who was she talking about?"

"You dumbo!" he froze. he would never ink that she would think about him that way.

"she um...Likes me?"

"Well no...I was just trying to tell her that we all ship you two."

"Oh." Ricky's heart sank. He knew that he and nini had boundaries and stuff and he respected that but he always gets mad when she's dating another guy or hangs out with one because deep down, he kinda likes her too.

"Oh? So you like her?"

"What?! No!" Gina just rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile, Nini was walking back to her friends and she bumped into someone.

"Oops! sorry my bad!"

"No, you're fine it's totally my fault."She looked at the person. He was tall, blond and had bight blue eyes. He. Was. ADORABLE! "Can I get your name and number?"

"Sure. Im nini. And you?"

"Justen."

"Nice to meet you. Here want to go get a drink and say hi to my friends?"

"Sure." They walked overto where Ricky and Gina were.

"Oh hey neens.... Who's the guy? He needs a hair cut." Ricky comented, already jelly.

"Ricky! Don't be rude! This is justen." Ricky already knew that this was going to be a really long ride.
