After Zhan left Yibo alone in the room, even though his heart yearned to hug him, comfort him, and take him home, he couldn't.

He couldn't betray what had happened to him or the pain he had gone through.

There was no turning back now.

It could only have a full stop.

With difficulty, Yibo finally woke up, crying to himself and missing his four-year-old son, whom he loved to death but now had no relationship with.

He took the bodies back home and told his family and everyone else that he and his in-laws had gone on holiday but had gotten into a heavy accident.

He told them that he and his son had survived, but his in-laws hadn't.

He had to lie in order to protect himself and his son.

But Zhan didn't just leave him alone.

He had left people behind to monitor Yibo and tell him everything that was happening.

Yibo decided to let his son stay with Zhan for the time being.

Instead, he focused on finding his son.

He knew that Zhan would watch his every move, but he didn't care about it anymore.

With this, Yibo managed to drown himself in work while trying to find his son because he couldn't bear to lose another person in his life after everything Zhan had done.

During this time, Yibo started feeling emotional.

He was vomiting, having mood swings, experiencing food cravings, and going through lots of other changes.

But he didn't pay any attention to it.

He thought it was because of everything he had been through.

Finally, while he was working, Yibo suddenly fainted.

He was admitted to the hospital.

Soon, Zhan got the news.

He sent Yibo a letter telling him to meet him and his son.

"Come to this place, xxx. I'll wait for u, beauty. Don't miss this opportunity. U won't get more of it..."

But at that moment, while he was in the hospital, Yibo didn't know why he was there.

Obviously, he thought it was because he had overworked himself.

But he didn't know it was because of something else.

Even when Yibo argued with the nurses and asked them to let him leave, they wouldn't let him go until he spoke to the doctor.

The doctor had something important to tell him.
