[Part 3]
"I don't want you to leave though." Leah pouts as she watches Chuck look over some papers. The girl's heart is heavy and she wants to cry. Her love looks up at her where she is behind his chair. He gently grabs her hand to try and comfort her. When she just continues to frown and pout, he turns back to the boys.
"Guys, can you just give us a minute please?" Chuck ask. The boys nod and make their way out, giving Leah sympathetic looks on their way. Her handsome man stands in front of her once the door closes behind Francis.
Leah pouts and wipes her tears, carefully looking at the ground to avoid the man's gaze. Sighing, he bundles her up in his arms and holds her tightly. They spend the next few minutes like that before Leah calms just a bit.
"I'm sorry honey, but you know this is what is needed." Chuck mumbles softly, careful with how his tone as to not upset her. He pulls away so he can look in her eyes.
She's aware that Chuck and his boys need to go to another state for supplies for the coke, but they'll be gone for a few months searching for the material and doing business too.
She's only use to him being gone for a few days. She suffered for those four days he went missing, she can't breathe thinking he'll be gone for months.
"This is the last step before we both can have our dreams." Chuck quietly soothes her. She frowns knowing that he's already convinced her. He's given her everything she wants. Her eyes wonder to the baby carriage she has in the corner for a brief moment.
Well... almost everything.
Leah can't stop him or make it hard for him to pursue and accomplish his own goal. She knows she can't.
She tightens her arms and buries herself into his embrace before nodding in agreement.
"I'll come back as fast as I can. You know I can't stay away from you for too long." Chuck giggles and Leah smiles in return. He leans down to press a desperate kiss onto her mouth. It's then that it becomes clear how much this is affecting him too. It makes her happy that it's not just her.
"Come back soon."

Leah sighs as she brushes blossom. The beautiful white horse is only a few weeks old. Pearl made sure to give her quite the beautiful child before she died a couple of weeks ago. It'd been such a sad day, especially hard without Chuck there to awkwardly try to comfort her.
Her gentleman love has been gone for almost six months now. He writes to her as often as he could though. Sometimes, the telegrams were long with stories of the adventures they had, hardships they faced and other times they were short with a simple declaration of love. Unfortunately, she hasn't heard from the man in seven whole days.
The blond places a kiss on Blossom's head before exiting the stable. She makes sure the food and water is full for the horses before making her way to the chicken coop.
After checking the chickens and gathering eggs, she slowly makes her back to the manor. The ranch is empty considering the workers and guards are on vacation. Plus her girls and Arlo were in St Denis until the evening. It's quiet with only the animals, wind and a few footsteps from the remaining guards walking back and forth.
