When the time for the ball came Arendea helped Deremira to put on a white beautiful dress. And Deremira did the same with Arendea's red beautiful dress.

Arendea braided her red hair and put some red flowers in it. While Deremira did the same except she put blue flowers in her beautiful brown hair.

Deremira looked at Arendea and said with a smile on her face. "You look amazing, Dea..." Arendea looked at Deremira and said with a smile on her face as well.

"You look amazing as well, Mira..." Deremira gently grabbed her hand and said as they made their way to the court yard.

"Well, I have You to thank for that. Come now, let's get going before we get late."

Arendea giggled and told her to slow down as they continued to walk to the court yard. As they got to the court yard both girls stepped into the carriage and left for the Castle.

Arendea and Deremira talked about what they are gonna do at the ball. They even joked about meeting their soulmates at the ball.

Time went by fast and they reached the big giant golden castle. And got out of the carriage and made their way to the stairs leading up the front entrance.

Deremira showed the guards the invitation and went inside with Arendea. Both women were in awe at the beautiful and shiny structures of the Castle's interior and the paintings on the walls.

Arendea stopped and looked at a painting of a man with a wolf sitting next to him. When they got to the throne room with golden and silver pillars and large stained glass windows.

Arendea looked at the thrones at the far back of the room and took notice of the color differences between them.

One throne was painted in gold with silver lines, while the other was silver with golden lines. Arendea figured the golden throne belonged to the King while the Silver one belonged to the Queen.

Deremira looked at Arendea and said with a calm look on her face. "Do You think King Yerdon will find his Queen?"

Arendea looked at her friend and said. "I'm not sure, it has been 200 years since He was crowned King and He haven't chosen who will be his Queen."

Deremira looked at her and said with a dreamy expression on her face. "Can You imagine being married to royalty?

Having to rule Orentira together and make sure the people are happy and safe?" Arendea looked at her and said with a smile on her face.

"But it would also be a bit lonely, considering who ever marries into the Royal Family becomes immortal too..."

Deremira looked at her and said. "That too, I am not sure what I do if I lived an enteral life without my best friend..."

Arendea looked at her and said with a small smile. "I would feel the same, and I would miss joking about little things with You."

Deremira was about to say something when it was announced that the King was coming. Arendea and Deremira turned their attention to King Yerdon and bowed.

Arendea felt his golden eyes looking at her as He walked passed them. She looked up and watched as He sat down at the golden throne with a calm look on his face.

She looking at him for some time before turning back to Deremira and continued talking to her.

After some of talking and socialising with other guests with her friend. She was about to go and get something to drink when the sound of glass shattering to the floor.

Her attention was drawn to a servant who had tripped and dropped the glasses of wine on to the floor.

She took noticed of the distressed look on the servants's face and went to help him out. This caught the attention of Yerdon who watched as She picked the broken pices of glass.

And helped the servant clean up the spilled wine on the floor. Yerdon got up from his throne and made his way to her and the servant.

Arendea didn't notice him at first as She was busy cleaning the floors. But When She did notice him She quickly got up from the floor and said.

"Y-Your Majesty, I-I apologise for not taking notice of You sooner I..." Yerdon gave her a smile and said to her.

"It is alright, There is no need to apologise. You are very kind to help one of my servants." Arendea looked at him and said with a nervous smile on her face.

"Well, I just couldn't stand by and watch him clean this all by himself." Yerdon looked at her and said with a calm look on his face.

"I see, may I ask what house You belong to?" Arendea was about to give him an answer when She was interrupted by one of the noble ladies.

"She belongs to Lady Deremira Ashaths's house, in other words, She's a servant of House Ashaths..."

Yerdon looked at Arendea and said as Deremira watched with concearn on her face. "Is that true?"

Arendea looked at him and said with a insecure look on her face. "Y-Yes, I serve the Ashaths... And I came here with Lady Deremira because She's my friend."

Yerdon looked at her and said with a smile on his face. "I see, may I know Your name?" Arendea lookes at him and said with a nerveous look on her face.

"Its Arendea..." Yerdon kept smiling as He said to her. "Arendea, I want to ask if You would want to come back in three days time."

Arendea became curious as to why the King wanted to invite her back to the Castle and said. "May I ask why, Your majesty?"

Yerdon were silent for a few seconds before He gave her an answer. "Because I want to know You better and have a cup of tea with You."

Arendea were taken aback by this and said to him. "Know me better?" He gave her a nood and said with a smile.

"Yes, You seem like a kind and wonderful woman and I want to know You. What do You say? Do You accept my invitation?"

Arendea looked at him for a few seconds before turning to Deremira who gave her a nood. Arendea looked back to Yerdon and said with a calm look on her face.

"I accept..." Yerdon looked pleased with her accepting his invite and said. "Then We will meet in three days time, and take this."

He gave her a necklace with the royal crest on it and said to her. "Enjoy the rest of the evening with Your friend, Arendea..."

He walked back to his throne while Arendea looked at the necklace. Deremira walked over to her with a smile on her face and said.

"Do You know what just happened?" Arendea looked at Deremira with a confused look on her face and said.

"What do You mean?" Deremira looked at her and said with a smile. "The King just gave You the Gerisien necklace, Members of the Royal Family only gives the necklace to the one they want to be with."

Arendea had a surprised look on her face and said to her. "You're telling me this is an engagement ring?"

Deremira lookes at her and said. "You could say that..." Arendea turned to look at the guests who had jealous looks on their faces.

Some of the guests even had looks of anger written on their faces. Deremira took notice of this and gently took the necklace and put it around Arendea's neck.

"Its best if keep this around Your neck, for Your own protection..."
