Chapter 19

The gray haired man looked at Arendea with a look of utter suprise and shock before saying to her. "Arendea? That You..." He lowerd his crossbow and said with a small smile on his face.

"Last I saw You, You were playing with Your favorite doll in the yard. I cant believe You grown so much... You look just like Your Mother..." He then gave Her and Yerdon an apologetic look on his face as He said.

"I apologise for the welcome You two recived from me, I thought that some bastards came to steal some of my furs." Arendea had a calm expression on her face as She told him.

"It is quite alright, You cant be too careful in days like these. May We come inside, Sir?" The man lookes at her and said with a small smile. "Of course come on inside, and You can just call me Jack."

They enterd inside Jackˋs house as the dog went back into the doggy house to keep guard. Arendea and Yerdon enterd the kitchen and took notice of the wisky bottles on the counter and a few dirty plates in the sink.

Jack grabbed the kettel from the table and went to fill it up with water as He said to his guests. "I apologise for the mess, If I had known that You were comming to viset with Your husband. I would have done the effort to make it look cozy and clean."

Arendea lookes at him and said with a small smile. "Thatˋs quite alright, We dont mind this at all." Jack then began to put the kettle on the oven and told Arendea as He waited for the water to boil.

"So... Iˋm guessing You are happily married with King Yerdon." Arendea kept smiling as She held Yerdonˋs hand and told Jack. "I am happy to be married to a sweet loving man such as Yerdon,

And We are both expecting a child in a couple of months from now." Jack turned to look at Arendea with a suprised look on his face as He said.

"Y-Youˋre with child? How far are You?" Arendea looked at him and said with a calm look on her face. "Five months, Why do You ask?" Jack lookes at her and said with a bit of a small smile on his face.

"I was just being curious, and congratulations on becoming first time parents. I am sure that child is loved and cared for when it is born into this world."

Yerdon lookes at him and said with a smile. "It will be very much loved by their parents..." Jack lookes at him and said. "I am glad to hear it, it will be great that the Valelse line will be stronger with the birth of Your child."

Arendea had a curious look on her face as She asked him. "What makes You say that?" The water in the kettle began to boil and Jack went to take it off the stove as He said to them both.

"Because Your child will be born on a red moon, it is something that is commonly known with people like Me and Your Mother. I am sure Your Mother told You about that when You were young."

Arendea had a confused look on her face as She told him. "She... didnt tell me anything about that... And what do You mean by people like You and my Mother?"

Jack stopped just as He were reaching for the box of tea leaves and were silent for a few secounds before saying. "She didnt tell You? Not even about her side of the family?"

Arendea shaked her head and said to him. "No, thatˋs why We came to ask You about that..."  Jack let out a small irritated sigh as He said to himself.

"Lorretia You stubborn mule,Why didnt You tell Your daughter a single thing?" He let out another  sigh but it was a bit more relaxed as He grabbed the box and began to make some tea.

Arendea looked at Yerdon for a few secounds before turning back to Jack and said. "Jack... Could You tell me what is going on?" Jack finished making the tea and said before pouring the tea into tree cups.
