Teraˋs investigation

I been looking into this mystery personally that wanted his Majesty dead and found nothing. I didnt find anyone that knew them personaly or anything useful and found none.

I decided to take a little bit of a break when I saw the Queenˋs dead beat Father wandering the streets. When I did my investigation on him I found out that his name is Ritehan Fayre.

I didnt find anything interesting about him while I went undercover as a working girl at the tavern. The bastard just looked at the girls and drank six glasses of beer before getting kicked out.

I didnt find anything and I didnt want to disappoint the King, So I kept on digging until I was assigned to look into this mystery person.

Seeing Ritehan not walking into a tavern and not getting wasted caught my intrest. I followed him for a while until He came to an abandoned building that used to sell slaves a 100 years ago.

I saw him go inside and decided to sneak in through the basement window. I walked passed the old cages and chains hanging from the ceiling.

Even after a 100 years this place still gives me the creeps and I surpress the memories of the horrors that happened here. I walked over to a wall with a eye symbol on it and pressed it to open a hidden door that lead to hidden passages in the walls.

They built it to make sure the slaves they kept here wouldnt try to escape. Now, Iˋm using it to find out what Ritehan is doing in a place like this.

I carefully avoided the creeky floor boards and stopped and listend to peopleˋs voices coming from the auction room. I peeked through the eye holes in one of the paintings and saw a lot of people inn there.

I even recognized a few familiar faces in the crowd of people that were from a few Noble families. I stayed quiet as Ritehan came into the room and say with a calm look on his face.

"Gentlemen, it has been a while..." One of the men looked at him with anger as he made his way to him and punched him in the face. Ritehan had an angry expression on his face as he whiped the blood from his bleeding nose and said.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" The man that had punched him looked at him and said. "You didnt tell us that Youˋre the Father of the new Queen!"

Ritehan looked at them and said with a calm look on his face. "I didnt know it either until i saw her with her bodyguard a few months ago." He then turned to one of the men with a cotton eye and a ugly red scar across his left eye down to his neck as He told him.

"And I thought You took care of things with her..." The man with the scar looked at him and said. "Well, Iˋm sorry that I didnt tell You that the girl You sold me ran off to who knows where,

Me and my men were too busy trying not to get arrested for something that is now illegal!" One of the middle aged men with black hair and red eyes looked at Ritehan saying.

"And why havent You tried to talk to that daughter of Yours?" Ritehan looked at him and said with an annoyed look on his face. "I tried talking to her when I met her outside the tavern,

But She refused to talk to me and that bastard that protected her threatend to kill me. When I went to follow them I lost track of them. "

The man looked at him and said with an calm expression on his face. "Have You tried talking to her again or have You been too busy drinking booze and getting so drunk that You ended up in the pigpen?"

Ritehan looked at him and said. "I tried having an audiance with her but the guards refused to let me in, Iˋm suspecting that her husband has ordered them to keep me away from her."

One of the men who was sitting on top of one of the old chairs looked at him and said. "Or that She dosent want to see Your ugly ass..." Ritehan looks at the man and said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Who are You calling an ugly ass?! If I remember correctly Your sorry exuse for an assassin failed to take the Kingˋs life and put the blame on the Sealths. And He got arrested and taken to be  interrogated, then left in the forest to become food for the wolves."

The man gave him the same annoyed look on his face as He said. "Its not my fault that Faltha failed to do his job, If that harlot daughter of Yours didnt warn him then He wouldnt become wolf food."

Rithan looked at him and said with an aggressive look on his face. "Or that Your brother was too dumb to accept a job from Tyran, Iˋm suprised that He kept his mouth shut about that.

I see now that He had the Loyalty that He got from You and Your harlot of a dead Sister,  I am wrong , Cacie?" Cacie had an angry expression on his face at the mention of his dead little sister and got up from his chair.

And pinned him to the wall I was hiding behind. I didnt flinch at the loud bang as I held my dagger just in case as I heard Cacie say angrily.

"Dont You dare talk ill about Liroa! I should leave You hanging and get eaten by crows!"

When Jardiˋs voice said with an angry tone in his voice. " What the hell is going on here!?!" Cecie let go of Rithan when Jardi enterd the room with a not so happy look on his face and said.

"Nothing is happening, just Ritehan being a dumbass..." Jardi looks at him with a not so happy expression on his face and said. "Whatever it is, it wont change that everyone is on high alert since one of You bastards failed to do one simple job!"

Ritehan looks at him and said with a calm expression on his face. "Hey dont blame us, It was Cecieˋs brother that messed things up." One of the men looked at him and said with sarcasm.

"Like Your constant drinking and getting Your drunk ass thrown out into the mud?" Ritehan gave him an annoyed expression on his face while one of the men looked at Jardi  then said.

"Howˋs Your wife? I heard She threw quite the fit after what happened at the festival." Jardi looks at him and said with a calm expression on his face.

"She is even more pissed then I am at the failed attempt at killing the King." One of the men mumbled with a calm expression on his face. "Or that She is just pissed that it wasnt the Queen who was being targeted for the assassination attempt..."

Jardi looks at him with an angry look on his face. "What did You say!?" The man had an nervous expression on his face as He said. "I said that She is just pissed that it didnt go as how You intended..."

He looked at him for a few secounds before turning to the others and said with a serious look on his face. "I want You bastards to keep this a secret until We find another oppurtunity to take the Kingˋs life. In the mean time I dont want any of You to do anything dumb that will cause trouble for us!"

He then turned to Ritehan and said. "As for You! I want You to try to talk to that daughter of Yours!" Ritehan looks at him and said with a nerveous look on his face.

"Trust me Iˋm trying I..." Jardi looks at him and said with an annoyed look on his face. "Try harder then! I dont care if You have to sneak into the Castle to talk to her, just do whatever it takes!"

Ritehan looked at him and said with a calm expression on his face. "I... I try, but dont expect her to listen to me that easily. I had it worst with my wife before She kicked the bucket many years ago."

Jardi gave him a look before dismissing everyone from the secret meeting. While I made my way out of the secret passage and out the way I came from.

At least I now know who wanted his majesty dead. I better go tell the King about what I just found out, I am not so sure how the Queen will take this infomation about her Father being involved with this.
