Chapter 16

- Day 34 -

A couple of weeks passed and Arendea is cleaning the blood out of her shirt. The last battle was intense and bloody and they barely got the chance to push the enemy back.

She still remembers the man that charged at her and how She quickly cut his chest open. Blood spraying on her and the sound that soldier made as they were dying on the ground.

Arendea let out a small sigh and tried not to think much about it and continued scrubbing her shirt. After five scrubs She suddenly felt nausea and quickly went to a bucket to vomit into it.

She then whiped her mouth and looked at her vomit in the bucket wondering why it suddenly happened. It has been happening for a whole week and She didnt know why.

That's until a realisation of the possibility of her being pregnant hit her. She sat there for a few minutes before getting up and going to go see one of the healers.

She enterd the medical tent and said to a healer with golden hair. "Exouse me, Liry? Are You busy?" Liry turned to look at her and said with a calm look on her face.

"Not at the momment, What can I help You with, Your majesty?" Arendea looked at Liry and said with a unsure look on her face. "I need Your  help with something, and I have a feeling that I might be pregnant."

She then began to explane her situation to her and after Liry gave her medalion that were enchanted with a spell. It would glow if a woman is with child and if a woman is not with child it will not glow at all.

Arendea put on the medalion and it began to glow right away and has a suprised expression on her face. She took the medalion off and gave it back to Liry and thanked her for her help.

Liry gave her a smile and said with a smile. "You're very welcome, If you need anything else come to me or the others. And congratulations with becoming a Mother, Your Majesty..."

Arendea gave her a nood before getting up from her chair and went to tell Yerdon the good news. She made her way to the war tent and the guards let her go inside the tent.

She saw Yerdon talking with the generals about their next plans with serious lookes on their faces. One of the generals looked up from his map and were suprised to see Arendea and said.

"My Queen, what an unexpected suprise." Yerdon looked away from the map and looked at her as the other generals turned their attention to her.

"Arendea, what bring You here? has something happened?" Arendea lookes at him and said with a calm look on his face. "I have some great news to share with You."

Yerdon has a curious look on his face as He asked her. "What do You wish to tell me?" Arendea gave him a smile and said as She placed a hand on her stomace.

"I want to tell You that, You're going to be a Father..." Yerdon has a suprised look on his face upon hearing this and had that expression for a few minutes before it changed into a happy one.

He walked around the table and went to give Arendea a hug and said. "This is great! We are going to have a child together! The gods has smiled upon us." Arendea giggled at his cute reaction while the generals felt happy for the royal couple.

Yerdon let go of Arendea and said to her. "I cant believe We are going to have a child together, We need to get a nursery ready and..." Arendea giggled and said to her husband with a smile on her face.

"Calm Yourself, Yerdon. We have a war to focus on." Yerdon lookes at her and said with a look of concearn. "But, what about..." Arendea gently interupted him and said with a smile.

"The nursery can wait, and I can stay here in the camp to ease Your worry." Yerdon looked at her and said. "You sure?" Arendea gave him a nood and said with a smile.
