Arendea couldn't stop thinking what had happened at the ball. She also couldn't stop thinking about why He chose her out of all the women that attended the ball.

He even could have chosen Deremira but He didn't and that's what She couldn't understand.

When Deremira's parents found out about this Arendea expected they would be mad. But instead they were happy for her and encouraged her to go meet Yerdon when it was time.

Eria wernt so happy to hear the news and thought it unfair. Unfair that She is to be married off to a Lord in the east and Arendea got chosen by the King.

It made her blood boil and wished it was her who got chosen instead. Arendea saw the same jealous and angry looks She saw on the guests.

And became concearned that hatred in Eria's heart will only grow stronger. She wanted to tell Lord and Lady Ashaths about this but didn't get the chance to as She were too busy with her chores.

And when the day came for her to go back to the Castle to see Yerdon again. Deremira let her borrow one of her dresses for the meeting.

Arendea were escorted to the Castle by some guards and were taken to the gardens. She saw Yerdon sitting at the gazebo with little birds sitting on the railings.

Arendea walked up the steps and walked over to the small table as Yerdon said. "I'm glad that You made it, please have a seat..."

Arendea sat on the chair across from him and Yerdon said as He poured her some tea. "I do hope Your trip here was well?"

Arendea gently took the tea cup and said to him before taking a sip of the tea. "If You're concearned if there was any bandit attacks then You do not have to be concearned,

My way to the Castle was peaceful and safe." Yerdon looked pleased to hear this and said. "I'm glad that no harm came to You,

There has been bandits attacks lately, and it concerns me..." Arendea looked at him with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Because it endangers the safety of our people..." Yerdon noods his head and said as he grabbed his own cup of tea.

"Yes, the bandits attacks has gotten worste and they do not care if the people they are robbing, are nobles or peasants.

I want these attacks to stop at once so people don't have to be afraid to travel the roads again."

He lets out a small sigh and lookes at Arendea with a smile as He said. "Enough about that, Tell me a bit about Yourself."

Arendea took a sip of the tea and said to him with a insecure look on her face. "Well for starters, I serve the Asharths and has been ever since I was 12 years old."

Yerdon lookes at her with a curious look on his face. "Ever since You were 12? What made You to serve the Asharths to begin with?"

Arendea thought back to her near death experience in the forest many years ago. She grabbed her right arm as She still remembers the wound She got back then and said.

"I... My Father He... He wanted to get rid of me and wanted to give me to some people who didn't have the best intentions...

I got bitten in the arm by one of their beasts when I escaped... I hid in a hole under a tree and didn't dare come out fearing they would find me.

A hunting dog found me and I first thought it belonged to the people I got away from. But it turned out to be one of Lord Asharths's dogs and It lead him to me...

I still remember the gentle tone in his voice as He tried to convince me to come out of that hole...

I came out and I thought He was trying to hurt me at first, but He just wanted to put his jacket over my small sholdurs so I could stay warm."
